Yeah, although here usually green, yellow and red are laying around in the supermarket waiting for poor souls to buy them

yellow pepper is still greenish when it's not completely matured...
to cook certain dishes it's preferable to completely matured golden yellow ones...

Alright, not as terribly disgusting as what I thought at first (olives, yikes), but bad enough to take it off

They say about themselves that they cannot be “tagged” into an ideology because they “follow the will of the people”. Originally, however, they were mostly based on left-wing and green ideas, as witnessed by the fact that they gave resonance to anti TAV/TAP movements (tav is the Lyon-Turin high speed train, tap is the trans-Adriatic pipeline which will convoy Azerbaijan methane in Europe avoiding Ukraine, with all the geopolitical consequences of that). Further, in their absolutely funny way of direct democracy, among the top 10 supported candidates as Republic President (Italy’s head of state), there was Romano Prodi, who is the historical leader of the Italian center/left-wing political alliances.
In addition to what @phelps correctly said about them, it must be added that they (should) found on transparency and the will of morphing Italian politics in a direct democracy rather than a representative democracy. Their guru was famous for his very strange predictions about the use of internet and so on and from these predictions their political instancies come.
in practice, they have supported one of the most right-wing government in Italian history and, as far as concerns their flagship reformations, they acted with rush, as it seems to have become the rule in all Italian political class, sadly

What actually counts is the Parliament, as Italy is a parliamentary republic. In practice we don’t see in general huge changes in political directions from a government to another (unless new elections are called) but the different souls inside the parties change their political weights and this reflects on the government
with the actual, nearly ex-government we have reached the lowest point in terms of several things, like international prestige, respect of institutions, political sobriety and respect of the political opponent. With the next, I prefer not say: I said I would have never preferred berlusconi to others, but I had to retreat; I fear like the same will happen with the next government in comparison to the current...

the big problem is that they don't have one...they're just a bunch of opportunistic and stupid people, prone to trust the most improbable fake news...
if we just watch at their political actions so far, for sure we can say they're more rightist than leftist (with all the consequence of that orientation)...that's sure...
eurosceptist? that's about half of the Country...it's not a question of political parties, rather than social classes...only those who are not touched by the loss of economical power and resources to come to the end of the month with some dignity and something to eat everyday and a few youngsters who are still dreaming instead of living the daily struggles are pro-EU...those who have lost their job or have seen their salary heavily cut because of the European requests to cut the public debt surely can't be pro-EU...
their main feature is that they are "against"...they are against progress, they are against any sort of long term investment and against building any new infrastructure, they think all the other political forces are a bunch of corrupted liars and they are the clean side of the Country, but it's well proven that they are worse than any other political party, even Berlusconi's...
about macroeconomics, they seem to embrace the degrowth theory by Serge Latouche, but this is only marginally true, they just give their own (wrong even in this case) interpretation of that (which is already something out of this world, imho...and they can even make worse than that)...
imho, they are just a disaster...something that I wouldn't wish my worst enemy...where they have some local govern responsibility, everything is falling apart (Rome is the biggest example of that, with no more thrash cleaning from the streets, with public transports not working most of the time and a lot of those malfunctions that make life harder for the people who live in those places)...
hopefully, soon this awful experience will end...but who knows what awaits us? we thought that after 20 years of Berlusconi followed by the German slave Monti nothing could be worse, but we got the "5 Stelle"...
so, following the old proverb (when you've touched the ground, you can always start digging), I don't really know what to expect for the future...frankly, at the moment I don't see any new political force nor any new politician that could really be an inspiring figure to stand up and get back to the Country we once were...

Oh, we’ve found some scapegoats for our mass shootings. Video games and mental health. Yes, I agree that video games can be overly violent, but blaming all video games is going far. Yes, mental health in this country is a huge issue. We should make sure people get the best care possible, but they can’t afford it. When we try to make affordable, we get labeled as socialist (something that doesn’t offend me anyways since I am one), which makes offering up alternative health solutions impossible.
But It Obviously wasn’t the guns fault. I mean it definitely wasn’t the unlimited access to guns that really helped people carry out these acts of white terrorism. Guns are to precious to be killing machines (sarcastic tone).
So so of course we’ve entered the thoughts and prayers section of the American mass shooting culture. At this point we ask entities that don’t exist to bless the victims and take them to places that don’t exist. When really we should be figuring out how to make sure the next victims don’t be victims, that we don’t have to attend vigils for 6 year olds, that we don’t have to bury our dead friends every few weeks, that kids can go to school and safe.
There is something so seriously fucked up about American culture. It’s been building from unresolved problems over time and eventually something’s going to give. Everyone knows it, even if they don’t admit it. They know that people will only tolerate the current situation of gun violence, health issues, social issues for so long. Hopefully the government pulls its act to together because I’d love to live in a country I can be proud of. I have so much love for this country, and it pains me to see suffer like this.

He isn't... he speaks against neoliberalism, yet he maintains most of the original cabinet members that were greatly responsible for the 1994-1997 economic crisis known as "Tequila Effect".
The problem is he has qualified majority in both chambers of the Congress, plus most of the states' congresses, so he's basically free to reform the constitution anyway he and his gang wants.
He started by creating a new paramilitary force, under the guise of a "Civil Guard" but most of the elements were soldiers already dismissed from the army or from the local police corps. Just last week they captured 4 of those elements as part of a group kidnappers.
I could rant all day long, but there's no point in that. Let's just say I'm glad I knew a more less "stable" "free" & "democratic" country, where not everything was violence, corruption and dictatorship.

That's one of our many big problems. Mexico is a failed state, as hard as it is to say it. And mark my words, if the party in government isn't expelled in the middle term elections, then you're seeing another Venezuela, only this time 6 times bigger.

In fact, I prefer this format for the team event. It allows each diver to perform better in their "individual" event.
In the past, when it wasn't rare for divers to compete both in springboard and platform, the format used at World Championships could have worked, but now most medal contenders focus in one or the other.
Nowadays only Woo Haram and Schleiker perform both springboard and platform, and I can't recall a competitive woman that does both.
