rafalgorka reacted to avlar in AIN athletes qualification for Paris 2024 Olympic Games and reallocation of quotas [post#1 updated 15.07]
So, we have a list of reallocations for AINs frpm belarus

Short notes from the IOC statement:

    1. Decisions to reject quotas are final.
    2. Decisions to approve quotas are not final - new facts may lead to the rejection of invitation.
    3. Decisions cannot be appealed - NOCs were not invited to the Games, so it is a good will to invite individual athletes... or not
    4. Unused quotas will be reallocated to another NOCs (not to be sunstituted by another AINs).

Empty lines in the IOC Decision column means no decision yet.
Reallocation to another NOC means that IF has to reallocate this quota to another NOC (not AIN) according to the IOC decision.
The most probable reallocation is mentioned in the table.

russians are on separate post (updated!) - some more potentially good news at that post - @copravolley @rafalgorka @zob79 @phelps

    Remarks:
    * - quota should go to JO Seongbin but  has selected its maximum number of participant and it is unlikely that IWF or NF will revise that selecion. Thanks to @Jan Linha and @phelps

** - important precedent was found by @Faramir to show alternative way of reallocation supported by @Art Art:
    a) at a single tournament - quota goes to the first eligible athlete at the tournament where it was won by AIN, not taking into account those who won quotas later
    b) chronologocally - tournament by tournament - with cascading redistribution of quotas, taking into account those who won quotas later and redistributing their quotas from later tournaments.

These alternative ways are shown in the table only for the quotas determined to the reallocation by the IOC.

At first glance, between the swimming, fencing, cycling and even skateboarding events, I would say that the clear favorite is with close behind.

Bolder choices : as pointed by @phelps, but also with a bit of chauvinism !
I think French delegation is a serious favourite for a medal in two events :
Rugby Shirine Boukli in Judo W -48kg
... and a clear outsider in many more :
Marie-Florence Candassamy is the reigning World Champion / Auriane Mallo was 1st and 3rd in the last two events this year (W Epee) Our male sabre team is maybe our weakest in the six events of Fencing, but they still scored many podiums this year in the World Cup Luke Mkheidze was 3rd in 2021, won one Grand Chelem and finished 2nd in two Grand Chelem tournaments this year (Judo M -60kg) Océanne Muller et Lucas Kryzs had really good results this year too in the mixed event (Shooting - Mixed Team Air Rifle) Aurélien Giraud was world champion in 2023 (and current world champion ?) in Street Skateboarding

    on Day 1

Cycling Road - M Ind Time Trial - Ganna, very disappointing if he doesn't get a medal, most likely Gold
Cycling Road - W Ind Time Trial
Diving - W Synchro 3m Springboard - reasonable chances for Pellacani & Bertocchi, all but a safe medal, though
Fencing - W Epee Ind - I expect at least a medal, but given this year's results, it might also be a double, if not a clean sweep
Fencing - M Sabre Ind - some chances also here for us, but it's gonna be a lot more difficult than in the women's Epee
Judo - W -48kg - Scutto must get a medal...she's the world no.1 and bronze medallist in the last 3 world champs
    Judo - M -60kg
    Rugby Sevens - M Tournament
Shooting - Mixed Team Air Rifle
    Skateboarding - M Street
    Swimming - M 400m Free
    Swimming - W 400m Free
    Swimming - W 4x100m Free
Swimming - M 4x100m Free - we're defending the silver medal from Tokyo here, but if we get a bronze medal it's already a big success

so, I expect  to be between 4 and 7 medals
in the most optimistic case, we could be in contention with  and maybe even  for the most medals on Day 1

In Tokyo Poland had 4 golds, 14 medals in total.
All the gold medals and 9 medals in total were in athletics.

Now athletics team is much weaker and the question is whether other sports can improve.

I say we will manage to get into double digits in total somehow... 10-12 medals, 2-4 golds.

The biggest favourites are the ones mentioned by other Polish users before.

    2 medals in athletics - M hammer, W 400m
    Tennis - W singles obviously
Volleyball - never-ending saga - maybe this time our Men's Team will be able to win a QF match??? Women can do sth as well
    Sport climbing - W speed
    Rowing - M 4x
    Canoe sprint - W K2 500, W K4 500
Maybe canoe slalom (W K1) or fencing (we have 3 teams in Paris, only 8 teams per events, so there's a chance, maybe W epee)
We usually get a medal in combat sports...
And there is always 1 or 2 totally unexpected medals (like 50km race walk in Tokyo...)

The biggest fun for me would be a medal in swimming but i don't think there's much chance for that...

actually, it was Primo Nebiolo as president of both the former IAAF and the Italian Federation at the same time who organized that cheat

Evangelisti was the victim, he only did his job (jumping)

and Donati is always been the victim of the most corrupted part of our officials...they tried to ruin him with Di Terlizzi's scandal in the late Eighties (but unfortunately the policemen found out the plot against him) and finally they could do it with the Schwazer infamous plot (and they needed the help of the FSB and many corrupted World Athletics officials to be able to finalized that)

p.s. no scam this time, Diaz Fortun truly jumped longer than Pichardo (and he also had a 17.96m jump, close to the Portuguese's measure)
Pichardo is just a greedy and envious man...looking forward to Paris, when he might get 4th or 5th with a jump just over 18m

Athletics rankings for Paris on WA site are updated after Euro Champs.

That was quite an advantage for Europeans to be able to score many points from continental champs , sometimes twice, they  add a score from qualis and from a final. Athletes from other continents don’t have such a chance at the end of qualifying period I guess

    Australian Olympic Trials: Day 3

    Women's 200m Freestyle (SAQT: 1:56.49, OQT: 1:57.26):
    1. Ariarne Titmus - 1:52.23 Q WR
    2. Mollie O'Callaghan - 1:52.48 Q
    3. Lani Pallister - 1:55.57 Q

    7. Brittany Castelluzzo - 1:56.77 q
    8. Meg Harris - 1:56.93 q

Top two both under Mollie's old world record set in Fukuoka last year. Top 8 all under OQT. They will definitely take top six.

    Men's 800m Freestyle (SAQT: 7:45.80, OQT: 7:51.65)
    1. Elijah Winnington - 7:44.90 Q
