There will be less sections than here of course, and maybe for indian smaller sports like handball, pentathlon, water polo, diving etc. it won't be necessary to have one section for each of them but you could one one section for "other sports", while for big sports like badminton, shooting, field hockey etc you will have a section. But this is something we can discuss at a later stage.

Our fitness was found wanting and we didn't try to change the style of game. We didn't play 1-2 passes, Didn't try to slow the game, defending n moving out of D was pathetic. Imagine Coach had to tell boys don't attack rashly inside the D. If not for the rusher Amit we would have be starring at  pathetic scoreline. Sreejesh too was not at his best.

If you are talking of Penalty Stroke then it was correctly given, Sreejesh was nowhere near behind the defender. We Indian fans loose the authenticity of sports when we go all out to support. I didn't feel refereeing was biased.

Also in my opinion if a team is advancing through two matches in the knockout stage with all penalty corners and penalty strokes goals (not counting the last Belgian goal as Sreejesh was substituted), then FIH really needs to think and make some changes so that matches are won more on field goals rather than just hammering the ball from the top of the D.

Improvement can be seen from the last Olympics maybe not so much in numbers but definitely in quality, Khelo India is a great initiative I think there's also a university games now, but we are getting only the government school students into it, the private schools also need to be infiltrated, the only way is to make a compulsory subject where you need to choose 1 or 2 sports and you will get marks in the board exam based on your performance at some junior level over 2 years, affiliations only to schools who can provide that facility etc.

Srihari timing is ratified and he has qualified for Olympics.

This is one hell of the path breaking performance for India. Hope today Srihari would also break OQT in 100m backstroke.

India getting 2 Quota till now itself is above expectation. With 8 quotas in wrestling it takes us to all time best contingent in wrestling in Olympics though from less events to maximum to again reduced events this has been the best till now.
