Well they don't need to crush Tunisia, but a comfortable win is likely needed.

Sudan could have been a super power in football , Athletics , basketball , if they used their players playing for other national teams , but for sorry the fact is that if these athletes stayed in Sudan , they wouldn't have achived what they have achived in other countries , Qatar uses a lot of Sudanese athletes in Aspire , but as u said they came to Qatar as very young athletes just as what happens in Europe , even in Athletics many of these athletes were raised in Qatar

I think because Direct matches condition will be applied after the end of group stage , now they just rank according to goal difference

That would be hard or maybe I should write expensive (for Polish conditions). Canal+ and Polsat are two different sat TV's, so if you want have programs of competition (for example you have sat from Polsat, but want also C+) you must pay extra. For six Polsat channels with Champions League you must also pay extra. Eleven is always separate package - you must pay extra. Even for Eurosport and Sportklub you must buy sport package because it's never in standard. Etc,etc, etc

I just heard that they are going to use VAR from the quarterfinals and not Round of 16 I can't understand why not from the first round if they have the technology. but at least why not goal line technology ?! which is easier and faster.

Asian referees are usually very bad. but sometimes even corrupt. apparently AFC sent the Malaysian referee of Japan-Oman match home (even though they didn't announce it officially) I'm almost sure this guy is corrupt. last year had some unbelievable mistakes in one of AFC CL matches (you can google Esteghlal - Al Ain). I can't believe they didn't suspend him back then. not saying he is biased for any team. but probably part of a gambling group or something.

watch this video, the 2nd half of the video, hard to believe they were just  "mistakes" both so-called penalties happened right in front of his eyes. he just wanted Al Ain to score a 2nd goal no matter what ! and AFC used this guy for its most important tournament.

An interesting example here from the sport of cricket in the UK
In 2005 cricket was available on free television, in 2006 it switched to satelitte television with a subscription fee.
In 2005 the biggest TV viewing figures were 8.5 million, by 2015 it dropped to 500,000.
During the same period there was a 33% drop in people playing the sport.
So the money that they gained from the TV contract had to be used to get more young people playing the game.
The deal was a good one but they had to use the money to make up for massive loss of publicity.

But.... There is also the possibility that Angola beats us and ties with both in 4pts  if we keep losing balls in attack like today it wouldn't surprise me.

Totallympics International Song Contest: Vote on Rule Changes

As a result of the informative Questionnaire last week, I now propose we write rules 9 (b) (c) and (d) into the TISC Rulebook.
Please vote on whether you agree or disagree with the following rule changes as they are written. If you agree with all parts, then vote "Yes - I Agree". If you are unhappy with one of the new rules, vote "No - I want these rules to be revised again". If you vote no, please state which part or parts you disagree with so that we can determine which parts you are asking to be revised.
If a majority votes "Yes" then we will add the rules as they are. And if the majority votes "No" then we will re-open the discussions to make sure we end up with a majority in agreement. The deadline to register your vote is Saturday 19th January, 21:00 GMT
Thank you all once again for taking the time to vote on this issue.

    Proposed Rule Changes:

SECTION 9 - FUTURE HOSTING RIGHTS:

    9. (b) If the winning nation wishes to decline the hosting duties, the runner-up of that edition will then be awarded the opportunity to accept or decline the hosting rights. If the runner-up also declines the hosting duties, the 3rd placed nation of that edition will have the opportunity to accept or decline the hosting rights.

    9. (c) In the event that the hosting rights are declined by the top 3 ranked nations at the previous edition of the relevant TISC, an open bid process will be conducted in order to award the hosting rights.

    9. (d) In the event that the top 3 nations of the previous TISC edition all decline hosting rights, an open bidding process will be commenced in order to award the hosting rights. The process will be open to all candidates, first-time hosts as well as previous hosts.
A random draw will take place with each candidate being awarded a number of tickets in the draw. The more tickets a candidate has entered, the better their chance of being selected as host. Here is the process for how the tickets will be distributed:

Each candidate automatically awarded 1 ticket each in the draw. However, additional tickets awarded as follows
    - did not host in the previous 5 editions (+1 additional ticket)
    - did not host in the previous 10 editions (+1 additional ticket)
    - did not host previously (+2 additional tickets)
    - took part in the previous bidding process (+1 additional ticket). For first-time hosts, they will add an additional ticket for each edition they are unsuccessful for in bidding, thus increasing their chance slightly with each unsuccessful bid. This increase will only be available for first-time hosts. Additionally, if a first-time host missed 2 consecutive bidding campaigns, then their tickets no longer carry forward and they lose those additional tickets.

QUESTION 1: Do you agree that these new rules 9 (b) (c) and (d) to be added to the TISC rulebook, as written above?
    (a) Yes - I agree
    (b) No - I want these rules to be revised again

I feel sorry for India . they probably deserved it more than Thailand , they lost both of their matches for lack of experience. that was a very stupid penalty to give in 90th minute !

and in fact there are a lot of subscribers from Italy, France and Spain...
but unfortunately now it's becoming more and more difficult to watch them in most part of Europe since they launched their fuc*in' satellite Es'hail (or Su'hil or whatever you want to name it)...
when all channels were on Hotbird first and Nilesat then, it was an everyday party...now I'd need a 2.5/3m dish (and probably it wouldn't work as well, as their beam is really small and officially don't cover northern Italy)...
not to say that for us their price is very economical (their full pack comes away for less than half of what we need to subscribe the sky Italia & dazn double, the minimum combination to follow our Serie A and the most important tournaments in Europe -and still those managed by sky Italia are not shown in their entirety, as the EPL only has 1 match per time slot or the German Bundesliga is covered only with 3, sometimes 4 matches per gameday)...

here in Egypt , we have 2 sports channels , On Sport and Nile Sport , They're covering football 24/7 , ofc only local matches and some recorded matches from big clubs' in Europe channels , at the past i was able to see many matches whether local or international of team sports like Basketball , handball and Volleyball and some other individual sports other than football , but at the last 5 years Nile sport and the local tv channels in general didn't care anymore about those sports , this year with the existence of On Sport which's quite new sports channel in Egypt , i was able to follow some local matches of other sports than football , there's also another channel which's a general one covering some sporting tournaments being held in Egypt and especially related to Basketball and Taekwondo, it's called Sada el balad , at least we're able now to follow sporting events being held in Egypt , overall the main source for Sport in Arab world is BEIN Sports channels , they have 20 sports channels + some entertainment channels and it's not for free , i pay 570 Egyptian pounds each 3 months which's about 32 US $ to watch 10 channels which're only available on Nile Sat ( the Egyptian Satellite ) other channels are available on the Qatari Satellite S'uhil SAT , these channels cover all football competitions u can imagine  i think no European channels cover football big tournament , leagues and Cups like them , they perfectly cover Tennis tournaments ALL GSs and Masters tournaments at least are available + some 500 and 250 ATP tournaments , NBA , basketball WC and its qualifications all around the world , Euro league and all continental Cups are covered . handball UCL , WCH , WCH and Continental tournaments + coverage for French league and women's UCL , but unfortunately they didn't cover the recent WCH  even no Arabic channels cover it , only Egypt and Tunisia matches are available on local channels , they cover all tournaments of FINA , partial coverage for NFL , MLB , Squash is covered very well also, Indian Cricket league , some Golf Tournaments , all major tournaments of Road Cycling and all Formula 1 and Moto GP Tournaments + some Professional boxing matches, they used to cover many Athletics, Volleyball , TT , taekwondo , judo events , but this's gone for sorry in the last 2 years. they covered last year almost all events of WOG , many events of Asian Games and partially YOG . AD Sports channels which have some open and some paid channels cover all tournaments of IAAF at the last 2 years , Diamond league is available on many Arabic Sports channels , Dubai Sports cover all UIPM world cups and WCH and International badminton federation tournaments almost all big tournaments are covered there ,many Arabic sports channels cover Volleyball international tournaments this year , many Equesterian WCs are available on AD Sports , Global champions tour is available on BEIN Sports , in 2017 Weightlifting world championship was available on BEIN , but unfortunately they didn't cover the last edition , BEIN covers some Triathlon events also world series for instance

I've to say that Arabic Sports channels coverage to sport isn't that bad , especially with the fact that very few people here in the Arabic world don't care about other sports than football , My biggest problem with them is Individual Sports' WCHs which they can cover for very low budget , but they don't , hopefully things would change in better way
