Please anyone but Froome / Contador !!  I think it is Quintana's time finally. Astana as always have a very strong team and they have thrown everything possible in support for Aru, so he better be in some form, because thise whole year he was abysmal. It will be interesting to see what will Nibali show, though as he has said, the Tour is just a preparation for Rio, but you will never know what can come up. Also Sagan for the Green of course.

Just wait mister Erdogan to say "screw you, let them go"  and grandma Merkel to say "everyone come, everyone come".

Time for England vs Wales, this derby must without doubt be one of the most anticipated of all group matches

Even though Brazil have said that Rio is their main goal, i'm sure they are hugely disappointed how they were eliminated. Dunga failing once again tho is very funny.

Baseball/softball to replace rugby/golf for the "hosts sports wishes" and even they are so-so... The rest aren't even sports and have no place in the Olympics. While they are at it, why not choose also video games and Ninja Warrior. Bet they would bring more interest in Japan than the others...

Like many people have said, just make doping legal and get rid of all this righteousness crap. Either way we know that all professional athletes take medication for everything, legal or not. There was a time when you could become a champion with hard training and normal food, but that time is long gone. Now if you want to be a top athlete you have to take 10 000 things for recovery and etc etc. If that qualifies as a clean athlete, i'm a dolphin. And big freaking deal you "caught" them after 5, 8 or 10 years. WHO CARES NOW, why didn't you do it then, at the moment when everyone was watching, when "clean" athletes moments/careers were taken/altered. Lance Armstrong had to confess, because Wada didn't know shit and wouldn't to this day. They never do when it happens, because they are always behind and will ever be. There will always be a race between the East and West, if you want to categorize it, of who can make a better medication that can help you. In the 70s-80s it was the Eastern Block, than the Chinese, now the West, whatever, it will never stop. That illegal list goes longer and longer with every year, because new things come out with every year. But that thing was legal then and now it isn't and this thing isn't then and now is, BS everywhere. Just like with the meldonium debacle. First it's banned, now it could be allowed, some athletes are banned, now they are clean... Big freaking who that those athletes are now clear Wada, when you have stopped them for no reason for months and ruined there preparation for the Olympic Games or chance of qualification, because of your doubts...

India went 1-2-3 in the Women's 200m, D. Chand 23.52, S. Nanda 23.55, J.H. Manjunath 23.92. Wind was -1.4, not great conditions for sprinting. Olympic standard is 23.20

We are sending a song that i actually like, what's up with that.  But really if anyone is predicting we have a chance to win, they are deluding themselfs. Qualifying for the final will be a miracle, since we have done it only once in 9 attempts. I hope at least for that, because Poli was very disappointed in 2011.

Finally Totallympics is back!  It has been a tiresome month, without a place and people to talk about the world of sport. I hope everything will be ok for the future. Too bad we won't have results (for now), because this place had the most in-depth information, all in one place, which was extremely helpful. Nevertheless i'm very happy that the site is back up and to continue our discussions.
