Now, is finally time to say goodbye to the Totallympics Annual International Song Contest 2018. It was a huge honour to host this contest and we thank all the people that made this such a fantastic edition!
 
As we celebrate many artists around the world, sometimes we may forget that we have an artist among ourselves, so to close this evening, we've invited our very own @Werloc, also known as international artist Gebrasy. Saying goodbye to Brazil 2018, nothing better than a song in portuguese. The lithuanian will perform the beautiful "Amar Pelos Dois", of Salvador Sobral!
 
 

 
 

 
After this amazing performance and the TISC flame being extinguished, we officially close the Totallympics Annual International Song Contest 2018!
 

Hi everyone,
 
I know the contest has just been closed, I'm a little late. But I couldn't be there yesterday as I anticipated before confirming Switzerland's participation and I would like to say a few things.
 
First of all, auguri all'Italia One of my 2 blood-countries winning makes me super proud
 
Second, WOW, finishing just shy of 100pts is SUPER DUPER AMAZING! Being temporarily in the Top5 and even Top3 is more than I had imagined! I'm glad so many of you liked Eliane, whom I just discovered looking for Switzerland's entry in this contest. She really has a great voice.
 
And third, I would like to thank the nations that have voted for Switzerland. Thank you Algeria (11pts), India (10pts), Azerbaijan & Indonesia (9pts), Germany & Russia (8pts), Lithuania (5pts), Brazil & Ireland & Romania (3pts), Bulgaria & Malta (2pts) and Italy (1pt).
 
Last but not least, a HUGE. No, IMMENSE thank you from the bottom of my heart to Croatia ( @dcro ) & Netherlands  ( @heywoodu ) for awarding 12 POINTS to Switzerland

I can't wait to welcome you all to the US for the 2018 Open, and I might invite the penguins though I'm worried about how they will survive the Florida heat  

As you all may know by now, this was the first ever edition of a Totallympics contest hosted in South America, and also in the southern hemisphere! Brazil had the honour of such feat, and the official Organizing Committe hopes everyone had a great time throughout this weekend of celebrations.
  As last piece of brazilian music, we brought our competing song at the contest, "A Bird With no Feet". This song is from the beautiful Le Tour du Monde project, in which a brazilian couple (Lucas Mayer, the singer, and Iris Fuzaro, a producer) travels around the world recording an album on the streets, capturing the atmosphere of each place.
 
The song was recorded in Dublin with Irish singer Dan Elliott and fellow Brazilian Carlinhos Cruz. It Mixes portuguese and english and portuguese lyrics, also bringing local musicians for its inspiring melody.
 
We thought that, at the 10th edition of the Totallympics Song Contests, this was a nice tribute to the nation that originated all, Ireland - and also to our friend @OlympicIRL for his great dedication to the contests!

April 28th 2018. This day that will go to the TISC history books as we've celebrated the 10th overall edition of our contests. A total of 41 nations participated in our landmark Grand Final, and Brazil was honoured of hosting such a special occasion.
 
But now it's time to say goodbye to the Totallympics Annual International Song Contest 2018, the first of South America. After a weekend of festivities, such as the jubilee Gala Event and the Final itself, we'll start now the last stage of this long journey: the Closing Ceremony. Have a great evening!
