I think he will if he survives the early storm. the North Korean would be a tougher matchup for Aman.
Gulomjon defeated the North Korean

@MHSN did you watch the matches? Do you think Aman can beat Gulomjon in the quota match?

The rules changed this time. Already nations like qualified two boats in their respective continental tournaments. Additionally, can't participate and can qualify only 1 boat
Why cant China participate here?

Satwik / Chirag Dominated their Malaysian Nemesis in semis to move into the Final. They will face the Koreans who defeated them in the Semis of Team event.
Nope not exactly. They lost to the world champion Korean pair in the Team event of Kang Min-hyuk and Seo Seung-jae. This is the 2nd ranked Korean team.

it seems the organizers finalized the list of sports for the 2022 Asian Games in Hangzhou
it will be all "core" Olympic sports plus few selected non-Olympic sports, Sepaktakraw, Kabaddi, Cricket, Chess, Roller Skating, Jujitsu, Kurash, Wushu and Squash
and per Hangzhou 2022 official website Dragon Boat will be a part of Canoeing competition. but they said nothing about Soft Tennis (which is usually a part of tennis competition) or 3x3 basketball. and beside that it's not clear if Chess is just Chess or will include some weird Chinese Chess competition too.
with this, Cricket and Chess are the new sports comparing to 2018 but they dropped Baseball/Softball, Bridge, Bowling, Jet Ski, Paragliding, Pencak Silat, Sambo, Karate and Sport Climbing from the 2018 program. of course nobody is upset about dropping JetSki, Pencak Silat or Bridge or Paragliding or Sambo, but dropping some old sports like Karate, Bowling and Baseball/Softball is a very bad idea. even Sport Climbing should be in the program.
especially Karate which is a popular sport in Asia and we usually have something like 40 nations participating at the Asian Games (OCA has something like 45 members) even though after this Iran Karate federation president claimed he contacted the AKF officials and he was told to not worry, OCA president (Sheikh Ahmad from Kuwait) is a fan of Karate and he will never let the organizers to drop Karate. he will force the Chinese organizers to put back Karate in next OCA meeting. which means this list is not final as far as OCA concerns and small changes can happen.
What are your analysis of the Freestyle draws?

I'm watching my frist cricket match in my life
I must admit that's really intuitive, so nicely to watch. Now please, show me a wicket
Did you get to see a wicket?

For all the rowing guys out there, I have a question about the victory ceremonies. Why do rowing victory ceremonies have no victory stands? Is it just to show respect to fellow rowers that everyone is of the same level?

Atleast in case of bajrang We had a hint that he was injured during training.
But what about other wrestlers including vinesh....all of them were playing with lack of energy and defensive approach....none of the wrestlers including bajrang showed aggression in their bouts which has costed us 2 medals ... only exception is Ravi kumar who played wrestling differently.
Is the lack of energy shown by wrestlers related to covid? But it seems mysterious.
Today in 50 kg women's, Chinese wrestler sun overturned the deficit of 7-1 in second round with intention and aggression. I think she is same wrestler who injured vinesh in Rio.
For Deepak I think he just isn't fit enough. Needs to cut down body fat if he wants to compete regularly at the highest level. Saw him in the Asian Championships as well and it was a similar story there as well. He was very defensive even against very poor opponents. As far as the girls go I am okay with the performance of Sonam and Anshu, they are just 19. For Vinesh, I think the Belarusian opponent was just stronger. The Belarusian opponent even pinned an American girl today for Bronze. I was very disappointed with the way Seema wrestled. Against even a Tunisian opponent she was so defensive.

Had Bajrang not recovered fully from his injury? His defensive style during the whole 3 bouts suggests so. I also read an article that suggests that he still might be carrying a slight pain in his knees.

Wrestling will put USA over China in the end.
If it is 4 golds for USA in wrestling it will be quite astounding I guess, right?

I am hoping for a gold medal finish for Aditi Ashok tomorrow. Let's see.
Pressure will be on Nelly Korda.
There will be a lot of pressure on Aditi as well I guess. A medal for India in Golf will be huge.
