Good that someone from Pan America qualified here. Not that we are anywhere close at grabbing one of the Pan American quotas, but getting rid of some competition is always good.

As a reminder, if France qualifies an athlete in an event, the host quota will be reallocated to the Olympic Rankings.

Unsurprisingly, the first day of trap qualification at the Worlds was not good for us. Zevlever went 40/50 in the men's event while Boddez went 34/50 in the women's event.
 
The best scenario for us would be for a Pan American shooter to qualify here which would make things easier during the continental qualifiers.

They must know we have no chance at the Worlds, better to continue training and prepare for the Championship of the Americas.

Great result from Ireland. I know upper management really resisted sevens until a few years ago so it's nice to see them catch up to the other top nations so quickly.

The event is too EXTREME!!!! The athletes obviously can't handle that much extremeness on a shorter schedule

The lack of Belarus and Russia opens things up. For individual Bulgaria and Italy will be the favourites, one may even win two quotas. Maybe Israel, Slovenia or Ukraine
 
For group, probably Bulgaria and Italy and the third could go to Azerbaijan, China or Israel

Not too sure about dressage. Assuming remains banned, the team quota opens up. is probably the favourite, but have a chance or maybe , not sure the status of their team. Individual wise there are a bunch of options so Israel has a lot of work if it wants to qualify.

Yeah, not the greatest situation. Canada is within a fence of third place and the same for Brazil to fourth place, so we need two nations ranked 3rd-7th to have a relatively poor performance (or Brazil/Canada have a perfect performance) to qualify.
 
The only good news is removing five European nations (plus hosts France) makes qualifying via the Nations Cup a lot more reasonable, only a couple of top European teams will remain at that point. The downside is the United States failed to qualify to it'll be up to Brazil and Canada to qualify.
