The 8 group winners are seeded and move into Round of 16. The 2nd place from each group shall be drawn from 3rd place from each group with condition that teams from same group can't be drawn against each other. The winners of this playoff round will play against the group winners. The winner of each match shall qualify for quarterfinals and Olympics.
The entire draw for the knockout stage shall be made in one go
 

So Asian Table Tennis Union has five zones - East Asia, South-East Asia, South Asia, Central Asia, and West Asia. So Asia gets 6 quotas so 1 quota gets allocated to each of the five zones and the sixth one is allocated either by ranking or competition (format for 6th quota is TBD, it was ranking in 2020 and competition in 2016).
So here are NOC in each zone

so Central Asia quota is tough battle between  and  players unless anyone gets team quota

Totally undeserving if the team can't defeat two lowly ranked teams at home and can't convert plenty of penalty corners. Hope this wakes up Hockey India and Sports Ministry and plans well for the next Olympic cycle.
Regarding contingent size this is a huge dent as hockey is the only team sport we are good enough and have reached a ceiling in terms of quotas in other sports we qualify usually. Also we are miles from qualifying in other sports where we never qualified.
But the contingent size should touch 100

and  get quotas in Men's 10m Air Pistol

Apparently Anush Agarwalla has qualified in Dressage as being top rider in Overall Rankings. He has to maintain MER till June 2024 to confirm qualification.
So its 30th Quota place and contingent size is 45 in 7 sports.
Unfortunately, Fouaad Mirza missed out as there were two Chinese above him in Eventing Group G rankings and upto 2 individuals per country can qualify in Eventing

They have not applied the reallocation of the unused team spots (yet), hence why the individual list is subject to change as explained in the wording.

Judo - 0. Two time Olympian Shah Hussain Shah is injured and hasn't participated in this Olympic cycle.
Hockey - 0. With Olympic qualifiers being moved from Pakistan to Oman, its highly unlikely they can qualify
Equestrian - 1. Usman Khan has virtually qualified from Group F in eventing. He shall qualify if he attains MER till next year
Shooting - 3. Gulfam Joseph and Ghulam Bashir already qualified. Kishmala Talat came close in World Championships
Wrestling/Weightlifting - 0

Netherlands tail really wagged hard. At the end of 33 overs, Netherlands were 140/6 while South Africa were 147/7

For Squash, would like a 32 athlete singles tournament per gender with 2 per NOC if both in top 16 otherwise 1 per NOC

For Cricket would like to have an 8 team tournament with champions of Americas, Asia, Africa + Europe, East Asia Pacific (The smallest continental zone in ICC https://www.icc-cricket.com/about/members/east-asia-pacific), 1 team from Ranking/Host Nation, 2 from a qualification tournament.

Hi @dcro, could you kindly confirm whether it shall be or   who will take the second quota in Group G of Individual Eventing.
As per qualification document, NOC can get two athletes in individual eventing
