Here are my best moments from these games.
Artistic gymnastics
ROC winning gold in both team all around competitions.
Ferrari taking silver in floor exercise at her fourth olympics, after tearing her achilles in 2017. She had finished fourth three times before, in floor exercise in both 2012 and 2016 and in team all around this year.
Athletics
Lasitskene winning gold in high jump, after being denied the chance to compete in 2016.
Seidel winning bronze in marathon. According to our commentator here, Seidel was working two jobs to fund her olympic preparation, as a barista in a coffee shop and as a babysitter.
Fencing
Pozdniakova becoming the first right-handed fencer to win gold in women's individual sabre and adding another gold in team sabre, following the steps of her father.
Brunet taking a silver and a bronze after her Rio heartbreak.
Estonian gold in women's team epee.
Szilagyi winning his third consecutive gold in men's individual sabre.
Judo
France stopping Japan's dominance with a gold medal in the mixed team event.

Sullivan winning silver behind Ledecky, after overcoming mental health issues as well.
Water polo
Serbia's great team concluding their journey with another gold medal.

Also, if any of you have a chance to watch the Kevin Hart & Snoop Olympic highlights show on peacock I would recommend checking it out. I watched a few episodes last night and it was hilarious. It helps cure the post Olympic depression

When I heard about Turkmenistan first medal in Weightlifting, I thought Bein Sport Commentator just messed things up, because Nazarov won gold in Rio but now I remembered that he's from Tajikistan not Turkmenistan

I enjoyed being able to stream every event, but the ads every 3 minutes were quite annoying. I didn't watch much of the main/central coverage but from what I caught it wasn't bad.

Change in race schedule
Summary:
Change in race schedule on Saturday, 24 July, Sunday, 25 July and Monday, 26 July
Details:
Based on the weather forecasts received from the Tokyo2020 Olympic Games weather services, adverse
weather is expected on Monday 26 July 2021 which would bring high winds and strong gusts creating probably
unequal and potentially unrowable racing conditions.
The weather forecast for Saturday 24 July 2021 and Sunday 25 July 2021 remains good. The World Rowing
Executive Committee has reviewed the options in Rule 63 and following consultations with IOC, Tokyo2020
Organising Committee and OBS have decided to make the following changes:
1. Racing will start at 8:00hrs with Repechage1 of W1x on Saturday 24 July 2021 and will follow the same order
of racing.
2. Men’s 8+ heats and Women’s 8+ heats will be moved from Sunday 25 July 2021 to Saturday 24 July 2021.
These races will start with M8+ H1 at 12:00hrs, followed by M8+ H2 at 12:10hrs, W8+ H1 at 12:20hrs, W8+ H2 at
12:30hrs.
3. All races planned on Monday 26 July 2021 will be moved to Sunday 25 July 2021 and will be held in the same
order starting at 11:00hrs with W1x Quarterfinals

Rowing
Women's Single Scull (W1x): Kara Kholer finished first in her heat advancing to the quarterfinals. (hoping for a medal from her)
Women's Double Scull (W2x): Kristina Wagner & Genevra Stone placed second in their heat advancing to the semifinals
Women's Quadruple Scull (W4x): Our Women's W4x finished last (5th) in their heat, they will now go to the Repechage for a spot in the finals
Archery
Women's
In Archery the ranking rounds took place. Mackenzie Brown got a 5th seed and PB with a score of 668. Casey Kaufhold placed 17th with a score of 653 meanwhile Jennifer Mucino-Fernandez placed 24th with a PB score of 649. These great scores from the team allowed the Women's Team to seed 3 and get a bye in the first round.
The next individual matches for these women will be
Brown (5th) vs Schwartz (60th)
Casey Kaufhold (17th) vs de Velasco (48th)
Jennifer Mucino-Fernandez (24th) vs Pavlova (41st)
The next team match will be versus the winner of ROC (6th) vs Ukraine (11th)
Men's
Having having a rough start Brady Ellison came back to finish 2nd place with a score of 682. Jack Williams placed 29th with a score of 656, while Jacob Wukie with a score of 649 placed 47th. This allowed the Men's team to place 5th which is a bit lower than expected but I believe they can work their way through the bracket.
The next individual matches for the men will be
Ellison (2nd) vs Vaziri Teymoorlooei (63rd)
Williams (29th) vs Plihon (36th)
Wukie (47th) vs Aguilar (18th)
The next team match will be versus France (12th)
Mixed
Our mixed team placed 2nd with an overall score of 1350 which means we will play Indonesia (15th)

The incident when Rangel bunted a double thanks to the Japanese carelesness reminded of another similar incident from the 2018 Worlds Finals.
Back then a Japanese player hit the ball down and assumed it fouled. Aubree Munro casually picked up the ball and tagged out the Japanese player who was waiting for another pitch.
