China Games and the national winter games are the same thing. It was supposed to be held in 2020 and postponed to February 2024. Speed Skating was finished early on January 2024 to make use the blank period in the middle of the season I guess. Gao finished this season after winning the Games but I don’t think he’s kinda retired. At least that’s not what he write on social media. He said see you guys next season.

The year in sports brought a lot of joy and emotional moments to Totallympics members around the world. As we say goodbye to our annual awards, here's hope that 2024 can also be a memorable year for all sports fans, as we eagerly wait for the next Olympic Games.
