Close to having 3 golds here, but it's all good
-
I don't think there's an entry that I considered 'bad' (apart from Germany, but even that is a stretch)
Greece, Malta, Cyprus, Austria, and Norway are my faves this year. Italy and Croatia also in my top 10.

I can swap with USA or Mexico. Second session will be much better for me.
I will be willing to, but let's see what @Olympian1010 has to say

I just voted. I actually can't believe it took me a while this time to pick my top 12 but here I am

Historically the longest period for voting we ever had, but people & scrambling towards deadlines is just a law of nature
It's just par for the course

I feel like this might be the first (in a minute, if not ever) that our 12 points match. I can't wait to be proven wrong
We shall see

My top 3 is set, but the next 11 or so are fighting for the other places, so my votes will be coming by the end of the weekend

Congrats to for winning the contest. Matt, you did great with hosting despite all the troubles.
And that twist in the end

And as usual, my tastes are drifting further and further from what is considered the general taste. My 12 points has never won the contest but I think in recent editions I am just useless at predicting who is going to win

I was really scared when I saw how overwhelmingly impactful the topic of religion is in the United States. I've watched this Youtube video recently discussing LGBT and the conversation was completely derailed by Catholicism.
Here in Lithuania, older generation is religious mostly, but I personally don't know anybody going to church on a Sunday. Although, Catholicism is really used as a scapegoat to hate on all of the minorities in the country, because people don't want to take accountability of their own hateful feelings/thoughts and choose to hide behind the 'Bible said so'...
It's really annoying how you can be an absolute awful prick just because of your religious beliefs.
Yeah, here in Florida, if you're LGBT they do not want to hear from you

Matt, post our votes. I have to do something right now

Any guesses who @Vic Liu choose for his 12 points?
It would be hilarious if our pair went out with a bang

Have a strange feeling / might be eliminated after the vote given the max possible score is 1.1
Yeah, and we're carrying the team here

That pairing with Israel will be the death of us for sure

I mean, it's almost 5 pm here and I'm finishing the leftovers so...

As previously mentioned, I had 4 songs for consideration, two of which were suggested by other members. At first, I wasn't sure which direction I wanted to go, but I think it's time that the United States sends a song with lyrics partially in Spanish, so I bring you Beck with Que onda guero
