Fun fact: If all registered teams will show, the host country will not be allowed to start in the Mixed Single Relay, as we are currently behind the Top 30 Nations of the IBU ranking, but there still a chance to overpass some countries right in Osrblie in the first events and somehow avoid the total shame to not start the single relay at home

It happened in the Mixed and Single Mixed Relays again today.  Lots of lapped teams.  There were 9 teams lapped in the Single Mixed relay, including four who did not get off their first biathlete.  How in the world is Brazil going to be able to compete Erdal?  The mixed relay had 8 of the 19 get lapped.  5 teams did not get off the women.  I know I have ranted about this before, but if the IBU Cup is about development, don't pull people out after they are lapped.

Seems like they renewed their website, they clearly don't understand the philosophy of not fixing something that's not broken, but alright. Too bad they kind of broke something that wasn't broken, since the player on that website doesn't even have the most basic hotkey functions (like Space for pause and the arrows to go forward or backward)

WOW,clear shooting and a 41 place from a Lithuanian junior ?,i think that's unheard of ,I hope he's able to keep this form up. 

Wow, that was a tough day for the US.  The women's team did not have enough to race due to illness and the men's team struggled, a lot. 

Jakub Borguľa won yesterday the sprint in Pokljuka. It was his first competition as a junior. Great result and achievement.
 
Today finished 10th in the Individual, while his mate Adamov was 4th.

The single-mixed saw 23 teams start.
2 were lapped prior to the first exchange and one pulled out.
1 more was lapped prior to exchange 2.
4 more prior to Exchange 3.
 
I know I sound like a bad record, but how does this help develop the depth and experience needed.  I know there are technical issues with changes the targets, but there should be a way to figure this out.

Only 9 of the 22 teams finished the Mixed Relay.  22-15 were lapped prior to the men skiing.  I wish on the IBU Cup being lapped in the relay did not force you to be removed.  How can the later biathletes ever get a chance to develop.  I can see a similar thing happening in the single-mixed in a few minutes.

Preuss and Knotten will both have the yellow bib in the pursuit  I'm really happy for Preuss, I hope she'll keep that form all season, it's good to have her back.
 
Also happy to see Gilonne Guigonnat finishing 8th, it's only her 3rd race in the WC (if I'm not mistaken) and already a top 10 

Despite the really poor shooting by Jake Brown, I am excite for the potential that the US team has.  Add Paul Schommer back in trimester two and they can be good. 

Good final leg from Simon.  Sweden put a very strong team and it showed.  Pretty pleased with the US result of 8th place.  Only 8 misses and no penalty loops.
Greenland were the last to be lapped.
