This is my main problem with the IOC’s plan for gender equality. We shouldn’t be eliminating men’s events and quotas in order to add women’s events. We should just add the women’s events. Would that make the Olympics bigger? Yes. Higher costs? Possibly. But it would have been the correct way to go about gender equality. There’s a lot of institutional reform the IOC could make if they really wanted to cut cost too. 

I will just insert my motto for the current IOC: "Always expect the worst and be prepared when they go even worser!"

Sailing is U23, while Swimming is U22, while Modern Pentathlon is U21, while Fencing is U20, while Taekwondo is 20-17, while Artistic Swimming is 19-15, while Boxing is 18-16, and Rhythmic Gymnastics is 15-14. It seems like Panam Sports really isn’t sure about what they want this event to be.

I was just joking with this shopping thing  But surely I'm not a fan of changing citezenship only to could compete for another country. Any other reason is perfectly fine for me but sometimes it's hard to recognize is this reason a true or only a trick (I'm not saying that in Israel it is a trick). I hope you understand  
 
True that. But still it's very hard for a country outside of the top to fight for medals. Sure France can have Heinrich, Czechs Dvorak but there're still not candidates for medals. And we're talking about countries with some traditions. It's way more difficult for "new" countries. But as Korea proved it's not impossible (but not in 6 years I believe). So as you said, qualification first. I think it's very possible if they continue tradition of compete in North America Cup.

yep, that´s a funny part of our language, we change all female foreign names to Slovak (it is basically in our law) However the foreign names finishing by ova must be turned into -ovová, like Sharapovová, or Fiodorowová although the only exception are Chinese names which are not changed into our language by law..
 
For example the Olympic champion in Hammer Trow Anita Wlodarczyiková won in new world record etc...

Another one bites the dust! 4th CISM Winter Military Games are postponed. No new dates given yet. My guess is that it would have to be December 2021, March 2022, or winter 2022/2023.

Denmark has hereby officially announced a national bobsleigh team aiming for the 2026 Winter Olympics!
6 athletes on the team with triple jumper Jannick Bagge as pilot.
They'll be part of the ISBF Development programme with Bagge scheduled to go through pilot training and the hope that they'll be starting in 2 Europe Cup competitions this winter.
