Christa Deguchi wins women’s 57kg gold at the Antalya Grand Slam, also managing to get her revenge on Faiza Mokdar in the process! This result now adds a further 1000 points towards her Olympic Ranking, and increases her lead on Klimkait to 2700 points, who chose to skip this tournament. 
 
Klimkait needs to win World Championships, and the Olympic Ranking if she wants to be at Paris (according to Judo Canada’s selection criteria), so quite a puzzling decision.

I'm sad for her but the post is giving sore loser. And she knew about the qualification process years in advanced, nothing is new.

Likely as the season progresses the field will get more competitive. She will likely need a 3-4 competitions with a 62+ (almost at the NR for a 17 year old!)
