Normal hill competition, at the very least, will turn into an open season.

Traditional olympic vacation has just started!!! 😀
I'm so excited. Let the Games begin! 😀
This weekend I'm waiting for the men's downhill the most. Need to wake up before 4 a.m. on Sunday to watch it, hope they won't need to reschedule it due to weather or sth.

Oh shit. So, in summary, from just this 'case':
Ilves was positive. Riiber was a close contact of Ilves in the plane, just like Andersen and Bjoernstad. JT Boe and Tandrevold were sitting close to Riiber in the plane and Johanne Killi, Anne Odine Stroem and Jorgen Graabak are now all defined as close contacts as well. Fuck.

Einarsen reacted to Jan Linha in Curling Mixed Doubles Tournament at the Winter Olympic Games Beijing 2022
The recovery from team Paulova/Paul was absolutely incredible ..... They made their mistakes, too, when they let take the 6:3 lead. But the 8th end was something nobody would ever expect .... 6:6 and in the extra end. Tomáš Paul played nice pocket stone, Nedregotten unfortunately played bad stone on the top of red circle they could not even make a take out. So for Skaslien it was a very difficult situation.... they had to take the risk .... Anyways, I am super excited and happy for their victory today. First ever Olympic Game and first victory, moreover, very precious victory against bronze medalists from Pyeongchang. Really great job!!!

Long story short: she was on the way from Austria (where she had been in quarantine until today) to Munich, to get tested three times there in the coming five days, starting today. Somewhere along the Austrian/Italian border (Vintl), the transfer we had booked for her (a minivan, her as only passenger) had an accident, a bad one, one might say. Sadly the driver didn't make it, and considering they hit a truck head-on, Bruna sitting in the back (to keep some distance) quite simply saved her life. Transported to the hospital by helicopter.
Broken arm, two broken feet and an unknown number of broken ribs seems to be the damage. Which, considering the gravity of the accident, is barely short of a miracle.
As for me, I'm at home in the Netherlands, which is where we are trying to get her as soon as possible (when medically allowed, of course). It has been a long day of back and forth contact with insurance and Brazilian federation and everything to see what can be done. But, again, the main thing is she's still with us.
