I totally agree. Germans need to make at least 10 mistakes in a run to not finish in the top 2. It has been the case of the entire sliding program. 
 
I don't think IOC / Organizing committee will pay and make same sleds for all in future. But that's the only way the sport can be saved .

18 year old Greek Sapfo Sakellaridi won her second consecutive ITF futures title in Egypt. She played four finals in a row in the last 4 weeks in Egypt, losing the first two and winning the next two. She also won two doubles titles and reached the finals at the other two events.

I understand it might be difficult for new fans, but it's not really about following the puck itself.  You just need to follow the actions and reactions of the players to understand what's going on, and then depend on replays for close calls.  
 
I realize this can be a disadvantage, but it's the cost of having a fast and hard-hitting sport.  Although I try to enjoy all team sports, it is sometimes excruciating to watch soccer (football) because stuff rarely happens, and when it does it's usually one and done.  The last 5 minutes of a basketball game takes approximately 853 minutes in real time which is ridiculous.  And don't get me started on American football.  47 seconds of action per full game.  Volleyball is fun to watch, though.

Congrats on the victory. I couldn't watch the entire match, the first time I tuned in Slovakia netted a goal thanks to that lucky deflection, watched for 5 minutes and I felt Slovakia will win it. 
 
I mean I don't follow the sport closely but I still don't get why do you always try to jinx everyone. I mean even in the qualifiers u did it.
 
So from here on be optimistic start telling ' Slovakia is the gold medal favourites in ice hockey in 2026, no one can beat us, we will win at least 5 golds, we are a big country etc etc '

Sola is one of the fastest skiiers but if she can shoot even 18/20 it'll be enough for a medal. 

French and Norwegians liking the pursuit for sure . I agree with @FancyFenchel may be a separate 6km sprint qualification at least for world championships, olympics or as alternate they can follow world team challenge idea . They can use same sprint for pursuit but decrease the gaps by half resulting in more even field.

I think we need a rule Similiar to youth Olympic Games. One nation can participate in any 2 events each in luge and bob and 1 in skeleton. But the events they participate they can have 3 in that if they qualify. It's crazy but  has put a lot of money in technology making their sleds the best in the world. 
 
Time for  to break the dominance today it's tough despite the lead if German wins again I don't plan to watch any sliding in future except the Sigulda World Cups every season.

I was watching short track with my friends and we were really amazed by the Korean guy's move and for us Hwang will always be the Olympic champion. Now the interest is going coz we kinda know that if you are behind the Chinese u will get penalty if you overtake them but if they overtake you they won't be given any penalty. Great justice.
