  1. 2:37.44 world record for Kimberley Garcia Leon. Local commentator seemed a little enthousiastic, announcing the record when she hadn't crossed the line yet, she only had one second left to break it But Leon having the WR in Dudinska sounds a hell of a lot better than Nikiforova setting it in Chelyabinsk, considering the reputation of Russian race walking

  4. Manami Iijima places 9th out of 16 at the Africa Triathlon Cup event at Swakopmund, Namibia. Earlier this year, she participated at the Oceania Triathlon Cup race at Taupo, New Zealand where she took 12th out of 25 finishers. Iijima has a World Ranking of 263 and is currently on the Start List for the next Africa Cup event in Zimbabwe on Saturday.

  5. Now that all of the eligible dressage events for March have been completed let's take a look at the status for nations with team quotas. As a reminder, nations which qualify a team quota have until the end of the year to get at least three athletes with the certificate of capability (2 MER results) or else they lose the team quota. Here are the status for nations which have qualified a team quota Australia - 0/3 Denmark - 3/3 France - 3/3 Germany - 3/3 Great Britain - 3/3 Netherlands - 3/3 Sweden - 3/3 United States - 3/3 Unsurprisingly the top nations already have at least three athletes with the certificate. Things have been quiet on the Australian side with only a handful even having their first MER result. There's still a long time before the end of the year and I suspect Australia will be fine. The edge cases won't show up until after the regional qualifiers. Out of curiosity here are the nations with at least one athlete with a certificate of capability (outside of the teams listed above) where they could compete at the Olympics. Group A - Group B - Group C - Group D - Group E - Group F - Group G - I'm just realizing how light Group A is. 5/9 nations have already qualified a team and Iceland is non-existent. Should Finland get one of the Group A/B team quotas that essentially gives Ireland and Norway a free quota to compete. However, when that happened in 2020 Norway declined the quota. Group F has some work to do as do the Pan American nations, though Canada and Ecuador at least have one MER result.

    Judo IJF World Tour 2023

finally, Esposito got a bronze medal...but at what price? it was clear that she couldn't continue her fight in the last 30+ seconds of the BMM because she had a severe injury to the left shoulder, she was basically graced by the ref & judges because they didn't want her to lose a match she just dominated until the injury (caused by her opponent). let's hope it's not too bad, as we're just a few weeks away from the world champs and it would be a true disaster if she can't compete and be competitive in the major event of the season (since she's the absolute key to our team's chances in the team event...actually, without her, we don't have a team at all).

Singura problema la Delvin si Chelimo e ca au deja o varsta destul de inaintata si cel mai probabil cam asta e singura olimpiada pe care o vor prinde, Rutto are doar 26 de ani deci mai are de alergat.
