  1. Just a reminder. NATO started brutal campaign of bombing Yugoslavia in 1999, today is 24th "anniversary". I wonder how Totallympics users would react in these days, would they condemn civilian victims and protect human rights... I faced those times personally, banning of Yugoslavia athletes in 1992-1995 likewise. Every time i will say - let the athletes compete, as long as they take neutral stance. I dont have simpathy for Russia but this level of xenophobia and hatred is indeed shocking.

  2. All speculations about Liu Brothers are clear now. They will participate Chinese national championships on 2023/03/31-2023/04/02 and represented Team Tianjin where their father is from. This event is also served as trials of national team for next season. Their performance will definitely be the spot light of the event and they need it to convince fans and team.

  3. Despite a Feeder event in starting in a few days, there is a break in the action before the Champions events begin in early April. Couple that with me needed something to do to pass the time today, I decided to go ahead and do a quota sim for Table Tennis. 5. In hindsight I think this is a big win for Russia. Lifting that state-sponsored doping ban would always be the more difficult task and could have been extended indefinitely. Now it's gone and people don't notice it since the war is more important. After the war ends you will be Russians reinstated into competition and many people will wonder what happened with the doping ban.

  7. Josh Liendo won 100m Butterfly, and 100m Freestyle bronze at the 2022 World Aquatic Championships. Plus you have Illya Kharun, who’s one of the of the most promising junior swimmers in the world at the moment. Sure they don’t field as strong of a team as their female counterparts, but saying they’re “almost nonexistent”

  8. Hey @rafalgorka, I was in Budapest very recently and had a chance to go near the stadium (other side of the Danube at Kopaszi gát), so I thought I would share it here. I took the picture with the shity camera of my shity phone, so yeah, it is what it is. And also, the best view from Kopaszi gát was at an old boat, I didn't plan this to compare the two. Also, Kopaszi gát was lovely as always. Such a nice place near the stadium. You get a nice view of the new tallest building of Hungary as well, the MOL Campus, the first structure near the size of a skyscraper in Budapest.

    2023 Pan Am Games Qualification Tournament for Taekwondo took place from March 22-23, 2023. Here’s where Canada secured quotas; Poomsae Women’s Individual - 1 Men’s Individual - 1 Kyorugi Women’s -49kg - 1 Women’s -57kg - 1 Women’s -67kg - 1 Men’s -58kg - 1 Men’s -68kg - 1 Men’s -80kg - 1 Men’s +80kg - 1 We missed out on qualification in the Women’s -67kg category via Rachel Fountain. 12. And that's 3 Are they trying to honour Just Fontaine by scoring his amount of World Cup goals today? Apparently this is the fastest 3-0 deficit the Netherlands has had since a match against Sweden 1919

  17. In Poland the mandatory retirement age is 65 for men and 60 for women. When Civic Platform raised the retirement age to 67 & 65 they were swiftly voted out of power at the next elections Law & Justice lowered the retirement age down to the previous/current mark.

  20. I know, good for them. This is rather political issue but its good to know that they entered Kingdom Yugoslavia voluntarilly. No one forced them to unify.

  21. The only thing that annoys me is that certain people use this as a spread of victory of their political agenda. Well, it can't be helped, this step was just necessary.

  23. It's honestly scary how many people don't have a strong position against Belarus and Russia entering sport competitions. If they managed to take over Ukraine, then the Baltics would've probably been swallowed too and their friends in the East would've probably started a crusade on their neighbouring country. We would be in an all-out war and sports would be the last thing on our minds Not letting them compete is the least we can do, when Ukraine is keeping the world safe.

    Pan American Games 2023

23 nations qualified in taekwndo, including and each qualifying 2 athletes! and did not qualify any athletes, and should receive one wildcard each, which will leave 4 wild cards open. I suspect one of those will go to Talisca Reis, defending silver medalist and second seed at the qualifiers, who missed out on qualification. This is also the first time since qualification began (from 2011), fails to qualify a full team.
