  4. Final Standing available here Henry_Leon juliosilva varnoldr The first prediction contest of this season has now been completed and the first medallists of 2021 have been found. A big congratulation to the medallists, @Henry_Leon, @juliosilva and @varnoldr First gold medal of this season goes to @Henry_Leon. In top of the standing through most of the contest and with a solid point difference to the rest. A well-deserved gold medal! A very deserved silver medal for @juliosilva who was in the top 3 in the last days. It got very close in the end to keep the silver medal, but with one point down to the third place the second place was kept. Congrats with the silver medal. Last spot on the podium goes to @varnoldr. It has been very long since a Hungarian user has reached the podium in a Totallympics Prediction Contest. Before the final day nothing was guaranteed for the Hungarian predictor, but with solid predictions the bronze medal was secured. Congratulation with the bronze medal. Some honourable mentions goes to @Monzanator, @Herberth10 and @George_D who gets 4th, 5th and 6th place overall. Lastly, thank you to all who participated in this prediction contests. As mentioned above, this was the first prediction contest of 2021. Tomorrow February begins and it will be a busy one for Totallympics' predictors with 3 winter sports world championships prediction contest coming up. The prediction contest for the FIS Alpine Skiing World Championships and the IBU Biathlon World Championships will open in the upcoming days. 7. Denmark is the best team in the world right now and they were supposed to win the title but what a night for Landin, he is always good when it matters and Congrats to Sweden for having such a wonderful tournament. and also hats off to Egypt for organizing this competition and also having a great team. they were VERY close to beat Denmark and lost by only 1 goal to the other finalist Sweden. I think it's fair to say that Egypt deserved a medal here.

  14. So we know the athletes will have to pass a test 72 hours before departure to the Games, then another after arrivel and another one every fourth day. They will not be able to leave the athletes village only for attending their competition and trainings. John Coates, Vice President of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), revealed first informationsof the new Tokyo Rulebook. For the Japanese and the IOC itself, organizing the event is a big challenge. "Athletes will have to take a coronavirus test no later than 72 hours before leaving for Tokyo. They will be tested after arrival and then every four days if the results are negative," Coates told Sky News Australia. Athletes and their teams are already used to regular testing. Another solution to limit the spread of coronavirus will be to create a so-called "bubble" in the olympic village. "Participants will be closed and their movement will be limited to the Olympic Village and transport to the competition and training venue. There will be a total ban on leaving the Olympic Village," added the 70-year-old native of Sydney, Australia. Coates admitted that a final decision regarding the presence of fans in Tokyo has still not been made. "About the spectators at the stadiums during the Olympics should be decided in March or April. We should decide on this as soon as possible. However, it cannot be ruled out that the Olympics will be without foreign spectators," Coates added. If there are no complications, this year's Tokyo Olympics should start on July 23 and last until August 8.

  31. Deserved win for France, they were slightly better today. But we really put up a good fight against them, and I must say, I haven't seen the male Hungarian handball team play this well since the London Olympics. Great job from everyone involved. And I hope we can continue this next year as the host of the ECh.

You are always welcome to send me a personal message if you are interested to join the Prediction Group. We can always need some help.
