  1. Absolutely. This was a very bad decision. Both K4-1000m and Canoe Slalom C2 were literally the best events of both sports !!! and both had to be sacrified becaise of that Bach´s gender equality bullshit fetish... (and both events are now replaced by literally the biggest jokes events of both sports) and after Tokyo the same will happen to 50km Race walk no words ...

  2. Sorry if this was posted earlier, I did not check. The perfect sport for the pandemic is fencing. You wear mask and gloves, and if someone comes closer than 1,5 meter to you, you stab them.

  3. Our national TV right now replaying the Beijing 2008 Canoe Slalom finals This was just hilarious how incredibly strong we were there. 4 Events = 3 Golds, 2 of them within 30 minutes and Kaliská winning the W K1 by 12 and half seconds

  4. Kontaveit should be a favorite here. Speaking of Prague, how much appearance fee Bouchard got for entering here? It's competely random to see a North-American player among all these Czechs, Russians and Romanians who don't have to travel far to play there

  6. Season 5 of Van Helsing finally resumes in Slovakia after the coronavirus stopped the filming after only the first 3 episodes were shot earlier this year. The show is the second Netflix production to be filmed in Slovakia after last year Dracula miniserie. Van Helsing season 5 were shot around the Orava castle the next one should be apparently the witcher for once it´s not about hostel or eurotrip...

  7. We in Great Britain are now obliged to wear a mask if we visit aquariums. Not quite sure if this includes Chinese restaurants, or what happens if you have an aquarium at home.

  8. Alaphilippe aka the unexpected best team mate of Wout Van Aert today Van Aert won Milano-San Remo beating in the sprint Julian Alaphilippe. The peloton arrived some seconds behind led by Michael Mathews ahead of Peter "Mr. will never win San Remo" Sagan

  10. If the season starts on time, Irina Starykh will miss some time. She was scheduled for an operation on her neck back in July, only to have the Dr contract COVID19, and the operation cancelled while she was already in the operating room! Also in Russia, the city of Labytnangi, just east of the Ural Mountains and south of the Kara Sea, will get a brand new biathlon center. I love their Town flag!

  13. As the Marballympics reaches its climax, the Marbulla-E season resumes with a visit to Berlin.... No spoilers, but an exciting race & a lot more changes of lead than you will ever see in the four-wheel version of the sport.

  15. Day 15: Madison men with one of my favourite athletes, weirdo Jan Willem van Schip, together with Youri Havik. Small chance they medal, but nothing is impossible. Team jumping final also on my list. Our best rider Jeroen Dubbeldam (Olympic champion 2000) just has a new horse, Oak Groves Carlyle. Maybe he and the other team members can surprise the favourites USA, Sweden, Germany, France and Belgium. Also a lot of finals, a very nice day to watch. Please enjoy, tomorrow it's over :-(

  17. I'm going to explain the steps I took to try to simplify the voting process; First, I decided I'll not have enough time to vote in order to properly arrange everything & count the votes. So that gives us 28 juries available. I'll assign the Repechage matches together with the Challenge Tournament initial 2 rounds , to have a total 12 matches, same amount of matches that the Main Tournament will have in the first two rounds (Round of 16 & Quarter Finals) Every of the above matches will feature 7 juries, like a dressage competition. I'll keep the format used by @OlympicIRL during the Group Stage to reveal the results of each match. So, if I remember what I learned at second grade, 7 juries x 24 matches, gives 168 jury positions, which divided among 28, will result in each jury having 6 matches, voting in 3 Main Tournament plus 3 Repechage & Challenge duels. Match allocation was done according to the following principles: 14 juries will vote in the Repechage phase, as follows: Users of nations that will play the winner of the play--off in either Round of 16 or Challenge Tournament First Round cannot vote. The users from the same group of any nation in the match cannot vote in that match. Voters participating in the repechage encounters will vote in only one match in the Challenge Tournament First Round. The rest will vote in two matches;, then for the Challenge Tournament's Second Round, every jury will be alloted one match. Regarding the Main Tournament, each jury will vote in two matches in Round of 16 and a further match in the Quarter Finals. For all of the above are conducted observing the principle stated in number 1 above, meaning no jury will participate in an encounter involving a team they should face in the immediate nect round. Then, for the Semi-Finals, of both competitions, we will have 2 matches, with 13 judges each. Users from nations involved in this rounds will not be counted, and we will avoid to assign juries from nations having lost against them in the immediately previous round, as it is possible. Finally for the Medal Matches every judge will officiate in each match, except those directly involved in said match.

  19. Day 15 SuperHiperSaturday I would like to watch so many things. This is much too much to watch in one day. There were some less entertaining days before but this Saturday really a lot would be going on at the same time. Impossible to see it all live as it would happen. I would have to make my priorities and watch some replays later. Anyway, things to do are: M volleyball final - i hope it would be Poland vs USA. And i hope it would be a really good match. Athletics - firstly W marathon (i wish they could move it back to Tokyo) And The whole evening session. Big chance for a medal for Poland in W 4x400. W High jump (Lasitskene vs Ukrainians vs Kamila Lićwinko). M 1500 (with Marcin Lewandowski?). And all the other events. Last Canoeing finals. W K4 500 is a Chance for a medal for PL, too. In M C1 1000 Tomasz Kaczor was 2nd in Wch 2019 but if the Games would be in 2020 he would miss it due to injury. But he should be ready for 2021. I would watch W C2 500 and M K4 500 as well, but I really think M K4 1000 would be much more interesting. Basketball M final. Is it the first time in the Olympics when a M Gold medal Match would be played before the bronze medal game? Handball M final Equestrian jumping team final Football M final Beach volleyball M final Diving M 10m platform final And in spare time I would support one of my favourite athletes these days in her ind. All-around final in rhythmic gymnastics - Linoy Ashram of Israel

  20. In german it’s „Kapstadt“. Hungary is both too poor and too small to host the Olympics, Spain is only too poor (in the sense of „Spain can’t afford to host the Olympics if we‘re being honest“). In my opinion only very few countries should be allowed to host the Olympics (given the insane costs of hosting them): Summer: USA, GB, China, Japan, France, Germany, South Korea, maybe Netherlands, Australia, Canada Winter: Norway, Sweden, USA, China, Japan, France, Germany, South Korea, Canada, Switzerland, Austria, Finland, maybe Russia On day 14 I would watch: Beach volleyball women‘s medal match (if a German team is involved), hockey women’s medal Match (if Germany is involved), table tennis men’s medal match (if Germany is involved), track cycling women’s sprint, athletics women’s javelin throw & women‘s 4x100 m relay & women‘s 1500 m (if a german athlete is involved), equestrian jumping team qualifier

  24. Friday Day 14 I would defenitely watch athletics - whole evening session is very interesting for me. W 1500 (with Sofia Ennaoui?), W Javelin (Maria Andrejczyk?) and 4x100 relays above all. Beach Volleyball W final Boxing M Heavyweight final W football final W handball semis Some track cycling, sports climbing and canoeing (can sb explain to me why they got rid of M K4 1000 and there is M K4 500 instead? This is such a stupid decision. K4 1000 was the best event, full of tactics. And M K4 500 is much less entertaing, this race is just too short).

  25. Definitely the Gold Medal of Abhinav Bindra in 2008 Beijing in 10m Air Rifle. Where I distributed sweets to my colleagues after that. My students doing live commentary n all shouting n clapping inside the classroom. All inside the academy were startled to see the noise. That was beautiful moment.
