  2. Totallympics International Song Contest - Top 40 Chart As we await the Festival of Music on Wednesday and indeed the TISC Annual Grand Final on April 11th, it is incredible to think that over 500 songs have now been showcased at TISC. In this series we will look at the Top 40 of TISC, the songs that proved to be a hit with the national juries and secured the highest points-per-jury averages. Each of the songs in this series have scored well over 100 points and are in the top 10% in terms of points-per-jury averages. How many songs from the latest edition of TISC (the 14th edition) will appear in the next update of the Top 40 remains to be seen. Today we begin with those songs in positions 40th - 31st on the All-Time list. Part I of today's edition (Positions #40 - #36), Part II (Positions #35 - #31). 40 Fito Paez - Mariposa Technicolor 39 Kelly Clarkson - A Moment Like This 38 Alok, Bruna Martini feat. Zeeba - Hear Me Now 37 Enya - Diamonds On The Water 36 Bryan Adams - Run To You

  3. yeah, and it was a real tough one...5.4 followed by another at 4.6, very early in the morning... right now, they say there's 1 dead man and a few severely hurt people... an entire palace in the city center went down and damages are consisted in the old historical part of the city... the virus troubles were not enough...now also this disaster...Nature might be really angry for the lack of respect and the stupidity of human beings to hit that hard... one last, but probably the most important thing to say...I feel very sorry for all our Croatian friends, especially those who we always read here on the forum @dcro @prso1000 @Crolympic @crovitlaci and all the others...

  5. You were quicker than me, @Belle! I was just in the middle of posting the same. But once again, I was too slow. I'm really looking forward to see what she can achieve in biathlon. To those who want more information about it, you can check it here: https://www.svt.se/sport/langdskidor/stina-nilsson-skidskytte

  8. I don't know, I wouldn't put my hopes up for Eckhoff too much. The fact that she had so many wins this season was out of nowhere and everybody was used to her inconsistency especially when it came to standing shooting. Seeing as Vittozzi looked like a shadow of her former self after her super season last year, I'd like to see more proof from Tiril that she is capable of being a consistent competitor, especially seeing how she completely evaporated during the World Championships and came back to her 2018-2019 season during the final shooting in Kontiolahti's pursuit. As for Roeiseland, she might come back even as a bigger 'monster', she can easily reach domination levels of such greats as Darya Domracheva, Magdalena Neuner, I guess Dahlmeier too if we look at what she did during her short career. In all honesty, I think the women's tour is very open right now for top talent. If you'd ask me, I don't really think that Dorothea Wierer is a super excellent biathlete, nor did I ever think that Gabriela Soukalova was too (as both previous winners of the overall world cup). The reason why Doro right now can look so good is because the women's tour doesn't have a Johannes or a Martin, which I think that Marte is capable of taking that place. I think women's biathlon level is really down after the peak days of Neuner, Henkel, Ekholm, Berger, Domracheva, Makarainen, Zidek. Of course, not saying that Doro or Gabi are not talented, just thinking that people perceive that they are much stronger than they actually are, regarding the competition that they are facing. Germany is at its weakest that its ever been with Herrmann being a less charismatic coinflip Gossner and Preuss + Hinz never growing into podium challenging form. French women are on a bit of a dip too, with Braisaz's and Simon's inconsistency. No real external challengers from smaller countries (that was the role that Makarainen, Domracheva and Kuzmina played) and Russia is extremely weak as well. So yeah, I'm really waiting to see if Nilsson can shake things up.

  9. Follow the same routine. Try to keep yourself occupied, with non-pandemic related things. Talk with your friends/relatives, revisit old albums, spend quality time with your dad. If possible, try and meditate. A healthy mind with strong will power is a must in these times.

  12. Holy moly, now that's a cross-over that I can get behind Although the Swedish ladies are improving at a high speed and the team already looks stacked, Nilsson would be a very strong addition when she gets her shooting to at least an 80% Probably no space for Hogberg on the team, she's the Horchler sisters of Sweden (even though Karolin was on the entire season, it's clear to see that Germany got very very desperate this year that they turned to Karolin)

  14. A total lockdown like in Wuhan is impossible here in Europe, not just because for different political views, opportunities, culture (call it as you like it), but especially because Europe is small, geographically speaking. You can't close half a country and expect the other half to support it, especially in Italy where the richest part was hit by the virus. In China, Hubei was closed, but it was equivalent to a small part of a whole country. This is something that somebody, at least here in Italy, doesn't want to understand.

  15. Not an official date for Wuhan, but other cities in Hubei province except for Wuhan lift the restrictions gradually. And doctors from other provinces assisted Hubei went back to their home mostly. A positive signal is that government disinfected a major Wuhan train station yesterday. People think it's the signal that wuhan train station would be back to function soon.

  16. A aerial documentary shown the picture of Wuhan under and before the lockdown. 3:00-4:30 minutes shows the past situation, rest is under the current lockdown, you can distinguish by the tone of the music.

  17. I saw some videos of Venice, where the nature is doing fantastic at the moment. The water looks beautiful and is filled to the brim with fish and other animals (like birds) close to it, it's like nature is taking an incredibly long-awaited chance where people aren't busy ruining their living environment 24/7..

  22. In this case I think Roiseland and Eckhoff Will be more difficult to beat than the norwegian sprinters now Johaug will get rid of one of very few who had beaten her in distance since her comeback. I could see Nilsson win the overall world cup with some more stabile distance performances But lets see what she can do in biathlon. Guess she had time to practice shooting under her injury so she can be sure she has potential for it. Appearently her plan was biarhlon after 2022 But changed her mind after injury. Hope for more success than Carolina Klüfts Change from Heptathlon to long Jump and tripple jump

  23. I just want an episode with ManBearPig that is part man, part bear and even part pig in virus form with the guy saying that this problem is very cereal, but no one believes him. I think I might end up re-watching some older episodes. From some of the newer seasons, I remember being extremely fond of the Game Of Thrones trilogy with Kenny Princessu

  24. Sure, the original pink panther series are great, I personally like more a shot in the dark, but the 1st pink panther is funny as well, especially that crazy car chase scene with the zebra but the Party is just a masterpiece of comedy, I saw it so many times but always laughing like the first time

  28. The number we get is just the top of the iceberg, I don't think it's about "hiding" numbers but it's just about how much you test. In small cities with many cases here there are surely more cases than official numbers even in death people number, because not all dead people were tested so some people died but will not count in official numbers. We can get that even by a simply comparison between total cases and cases of "famous" people who tested positive Politicians, football players, actors and so on. I don't think a total lockdown is feasible for more than a few weeks here in Europe anyway (at least I hope so, otherwise people will soon start to die anyway and not for the virus. Our economy is going to die soon).

  36. Something you don´t see often I guess... Slovak citizens living in Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium who asked our government to return home, officially : because "they do not feel safe in these countries actually and prefer stay in Slovakia" were repatriated by the state to Slovakia in the past hours by special buses and are placed in mandatory 14 days quarantine where they will wait for tests and now the thing.. in these 3 special hotels in the Tatras (belonging to the state) !!! They will pay only 13 euros for daily meals everything else is for free !. Anyone who will have a negative test will be send to home quarantine TV news Video shot here https://www.ta3.com/clanok/1179087/repatrianti-zaplnaju-karantenne-zariadenia-su-aj-vo-vysokych-tatrach.html

  38. basically, they will set it up on an elevated platform, keeping the new first ring of seats below the level of the athletics track (capacity should go down to around 70,000 for the Games, while it's around 90,000 for American Football)... here you can find renderings and a whole discussion thread about how it will look at the end of the Olympic set up... https://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?p=145445659 p.s. if the really build a new modern arena beside the new Football Stadium, it finally lead to rethink of having the main swimming pool outdoor at the USC Baseball Field...they could set that pool inside the new arena (I definitely don't like outdoor swimming competitions, they are often problematic in terms of weather conditions -wind is capable of making a race unfair- and the sunny outdoor environment is always a problem when it comes to tv pictures production)...

Some other towns felt it too, but it's mostly Zagreb (and most of all its historic centre). It doesn't help that the area has about a million people and that it has most confirmed coronavirus cases... And just like that you have thousands people on the streets once again...

  48. I mostly agree with your standpoint. Due to all the uncertainty of this crisis, it would probably be best to postpone it to next year, as I don't see September or October are better options. How will two or one month extra, without a worldwide vaccine available, change anything? For the health of the athletes and for the fairness of the sports, it seems, giving the current circumstances, a postponement would be a fair and reasonable decision. I would also like to state that I'm not in favour of having the Olympics behind closed doors. As fans and athletes should be able to celebrate these special moments together. After all, despite of not always being one of the top priorities for some of the people in IOC, The Olympics are about bringing nations, cultures and people from all over the world together in the celebration and love of sports. Edit: Just to make it clear. I still have the opinion that IOC shouldn't officially postpone it before May/mid-May. Also, Thomas Bach is often not the best to communicate his points or he is just being too honest sometimes to be in sports politics.
