  2. yes and considering the points gap, I don't think women's team can qualify but you never know. ranking changes in a day . I just found the ranking for only 4 days ago and you can see MASSIVE change in number of points for all countries in race. (RUS and CHN are guaranteed) it seems Iran is not the only one "cheating" ! this is the worst qualification format ever. Comparing points from 5 November and 9 November 12,102,587 ==> 12,193,547 11,198,879 ==> 11,356,804 8,658,440 ==> 8,894,875 8,375,136 ==> 8,678,836 6,403,888 ==> 7,041,633 5,976,591 ==> 6,764,738 5,970,420 ==> 6,504,495

  3. Thank you for being transparent. I was wondering if I would get penalised for putting you in a group chat with my votes. I just didn't know there were three of you

  4. i’ll send my votes to @Wumo and @dezbee2008 can send her votes to @Agger. I’d like to point out that the US didn’t make this demand when hosting the TISC Open last year... Always unnecessary drama when the US doesn’t host.

  6. The best thing for race walking would be...Keeping judges but not in their current form. I say we have 5 on-course judges and 5 replay judges (the replay judges must be from nations not entered in the event, or from countries that didn’t finish in the top 20). When a judge thinks an athlete is breaking a rule they call it in to the replay judges. Judges will watch the footage and determine if the athlete has broken the rule. If the athlete has broken the rule, a course judge will notify them with a card. Also, shoe chips would be worn to help supplement some “easier calls”, so judges can focus on more technical stuff.

  7. I don't think Japan can pick. the best ranked Japanese team qualifies. right now men's team is 8th. women's team is 11th. so it goes to the men's team at least for now.

  9. Yeah, it would take a lot of bad luck for Egypt to not finish in the top 2. Of course, crazier things have happened.

  10. Not really. African Games are basically irrelevant, and it was always Egyptian team's strategy to send reserve horses to Nations Cup (and spare the best for Rabat). Egypt is a HUGE favorite given their current rider and horse power.

  12. Six nations will take part - Egyptians are the favorites, while everyone else (except maybe Jordan) will battle for the second quota. My prediction is Egypt and Qatar.

  14. I explained in the thread about general artistic gymnastics. He has a chance to qualify if the results of the next European Championships in men's all around are exactly the same as the ones this year (I mean, if Marios Georgiou finishes as the best or second best non-qualified athlete).

  15. Mali is the two time defending African champions, though Nigeria did win at the African Games. Regardless it is unlikely we'll see an African nation at the Olympics.
