:CRO Marin Mogić clocked 15:00.38 over 1500 m freestyle, fulfilling the Croatian quota for the event.

As usual, can you tell me where can I find the results of the meeting? :) Thanks :)

the master of doping addicted, his majesty the king of cheaters, Sun Yang, despite all the controversy on his name, did shine at the :CHN Chinese Nationals, which are running this week in Quingdao...

he swam 1.45.73 over the 200m free, 3.43.73 over the 400m free and 7.48.03 over the 800m free...

Does any of you know if achieved OQT and OST at any National Championship and Trials count?

I'm asking because FINA's Qualification Events Calender doesn't count the current Hungarian Nationals as a qualification event.

https://www.fina.org/content/swimming-qual-events-olympic-games-xxxii-tokyo-jpn-2020

In the official qualification document from FINA:

"Please note that competitions taking place after 1st March 2019 and which have been previously approved as qualifying meets for the FINA World Championships Gwangju 2019 will be automatically considered for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. There is no need to re-apply".

You should also count qualifying events to 2019 World Championships, where HungarianChampionships are, so they actually count. Obviously I think Hungary is a relatively big nation in swimming, so probably they will actually use other ways to devi e qualified athletes

as we have written in the past, the Italian team qualification to the Games will follow a different pathway, but just for info, if we only look at the time swum in day #1 of the 2019 Italian Nationals, we have a few new "A" standard times reached by some Italian swimmers...

- Simona Quadarella (women's 800m free, 8.25.55)
- Arianna Castiglioni (women's 100m breast, 1.06.92 in the morning heats, slightly slower in the final, 1.07.11, which is just a few hundreds above the target)
- Martina Carraro (women's 100m breast, 1.07.04)
- Ilaria Cusinato (women's 400m IM, 4.37.45)
- Gabriele Detti (men's 400m free, 3.43.36)
- Federico Burdisso (men's 200m fly, 1.54.64)
- Andrea Vergani (men's 50m free, 21.53)
- Luca Dotto (men's 50m free, 21.98)

and if we look at "B" standard, we have:

- 7 girls in the women's 800m free
- 7 girls in the women's 100m breast (included a 13-year young girl, Benedetta Pilato, who was 5th overall and swam 1.08.88)
- 4 girls in the women's 400m IM
- 8 guys in the men's 400m free
- 9 guys in the men's 200 fly
- 11 guys in the men's 50m free

who swam faster than that standard time...
