Jitu Rai gets Bronze in the 10m Air Pistol in the World Cup being held in New Delhi. 

 

With this India has 1 Silver n 2 Bronze together with Gold in Test event  of Mixed doubles in 10m Air Pistol.

India had the largest ever contingent at the Asian Winter Games 2017 with 27 people in 2 sports. Though results were bad so many getting exposure is good for future. We hardly get to practice for such games.

History created with 2 clubs of India have qualified for the AFC Cup for the 1st time. Great news  for all the Indian football fans. But both are in same group and only one will qualify for the SF. But there is 50% chance for Indian club to move into SF.

Ajay Singh president of BFI announced that the first ever franchise-based Indian Boxing League (IBL) will most likely be held by the end of the year and  India is planning to host one major tournament every year in the run-up to 2020 Tokyo Olympics, starting with the women's Youth World Championships in November 2017.
