Apurvi is in danger of missing Tokyo next year owing to her rare dip in form.

Meanwhile for the first time ever India failed to win gold in mixed rifle 10m after the format changed in Feb.  This was the result of changing partners Apurvi with Divyansh, finished 18th behind Bangladesh, Mongolia, Singapore, Indonesia , Malaysia  in Qualifications and Anjum and Deepak (6th)  . Changing partners really doesn't help I suppose.

Chinki Yadav in top 8 in Precision Stage of 25m Pistol. Rapid fire stage to take place tomorrow and combination of the two scores will determine qualification to final

Hope we get a quota in this and perhaps re-allocate it somewhere

Chinki is 5th and should win the quota.

:IND :THA :THA :MGL will win the 4 quotas here.

Some really world class shooting by Rahi (296) and Manu (295) in MQS.

It seems Badminton will be a failure miserably with noone worthwhile qualifying. bad slump in form for Sindhu also.

Why? I thought we are seeing the rise of few new players, Satwik- Chirag and Lakshya Sen

Satwik-Chirag duo could be a dark horse among medal contenders. They beat 6th seed Japanese duo in China Open

They have reached the semis now beating the 3rd seed Chinese pair.......

They will be facing world number 1 INA pairing, the same pair they lost the finals of the French Open to
