None.

Let's make another Summer Olympic Games and we're set. :p

Amen to that! :d

In all seriousness, I like the current programme, but that's coming from a person that understands about 5% of what actually is going on.

Yes, this is a big problem for people who do not live in Japan, China, Europe or North America.

I mean, some sports are nice to watch, but other sports just look stupid. Take luge, skeleton, moguls and ski jumping, for example. I wonder why they added such ridiculous looking things to the Olympic program. Curling also looks very weird at first, though I admit it is nice to watch once you understand what's going on (although it takes too long to finish a match, which eventually gets boring anyway).

Not to mention that Figure Skating is too hard for anyone to really understand how scores are calculated, and there are always accusations of unfairness and bribed judges, which is everything the Olympics should not deal with. The same thing can be said about rhythmic gymnastics, I know.

Adding new sports to the program would hardly make things more exciting, in my opinion. Bandy? Nope. Ice stock sport? This would be great for Brazil (only winter sport in which Brazil has won a medal at the World Championships), but no. We have curling already. Winter triathlon? This sounds weird. Mountain biking on snow is just something out of nightmares, in my opinion.

As it is, there is very little I enjoy watching, and I could seriously live without the Winter Olympics.

Then again, that's exactly the thing I read a lot during the Summer Olympics as well (at least on the Dutch forums), mostly during the few minutes there's some TV attention for the likes of synchronized swimming, trampolining, rhythmic gymnastics, taekwondo (and next time definitely karate as well) or that wrestling form where they start in sort of a doggy style position :p

It is indeed completely about which sports have at least a tiny bit of interest in your country or not. I was serious as well by the way, the Winter Olympics being gone (and so automatically the competitions in those sports gradually decreasing) would absolutely shatter me more than anything in my life (at least until now, my life has not been bad so far, I must admit, but still) :red: (same goes for losing the Summer Olympics btw)

If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Full story and how to help can be found here!

Yea the summer Olympics have much more wtf and boring sports than the Winter ones. The Winter Olympics are much more exciting to watch.

You probably have no idea how alien curling looks to anyone not born in Canada :p
