heywoodu 13,500 Posted January 19, 2018 #41 Share Posted January 19, 2018 IBSF's preview before today: Dukurs finishes 2nd and ends up 3rd in the World Cup standings. No really, great preview guys If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! heywoodu 13,500 Posted January 19, 2018 #42 Share Posted January 19, 2018 (edited) Right, apparently the IBSF (or at least the preview writer) had completely missed the fact that Dukurs was DSQ'ed in St Moritz (and so had I) Edit: Nope, Dukurs only was DSQ'ed from St Moritz today! And by the looks of it, after today's race, so he was in fact World Cup champion for a brief moment (well, unless you count the 8 years before it ) and lost it. heywoodu 13,500 Posted January 19, 2018 #44 Share Posted January 19, 2018 Just now, Nate River said: That's bizarre. Was any explanation given? Materials violation, apparently something with the hardness of his runners.
