Federer91 2,112 Posted June 24, 2016 #52 Share Posted June 24, 2016 Wow, i did not expect this after last week. I was sure they have swayed them, but it looks like things have been over the point of no return. EU now should knock on Merkels (and Obama) door and shout "Look what you have done". OlympicsFan 776 Posted June 24, 2016 #55 Share Posted June 24, 2016 I am glad that most british people voted for leave, GB has never really been part of the EU, just like Russia or Turkey dont belong in the EU, now british people finally decided to leave. Some interesting questions are still to answer: Will Scotland remain in the EU? Will we again have borders between Ireland and Northern Ireland? Who will replace Cameron as PM? I guess it will (sadly) be Johnson, but it would be great to see Farage as new PM. Maybe we will have elections again and UKIP will win them. I think it will be difficult for the Conservative Party to agree on someon as opportunistic as Johnson as new PM. Where will british people now go for holidays? Spain will probably now be too expensive for many british people. I think Manchester or Birmingham are very beautiful places too. Will Franlfurt become the new financial centre of Europe? When will GB actually exit the EU? Its gonna be really interesting to see how GB will do without the EU. Switzerland for example is doing just fine and i think GB will also be fine without the EU. Attachment is the great fabricator of illusions; reality can be obtained only by someone who is detached.
De_Gambassi 896 Posted June 24, 2016 #56 Share Posted June 24, 2016 European politicains in full denial mode. Nothing to see here, but an 'oportunity' to rebuilt a stronger an EU. L-O-L Guys, UE approval ratings are hitting historic lows, pople will notice that the apocalypse is not going to happen, it is only to get worse. What's next ? Dexit, Nexit, Frexit ? All bets are open
Federer91 2,112 Posted June 24, 2016 #57 Share Posted June 24, 2016 The market overreacting as usual. Many will make big bucks once again. UK will probably leave officially in 2019.

heywoodu 13,499 Posted June 24, 2016 #59 Share Posted June 24, 2016 Well fantastic. An absolute idiot like Farage getting what he wants. If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Full story and how to help can be found here!
