Very interesting development here:

It sounds very much legal. The Cherokee (and most native peoples) don’t generally stray to much into American politics. The Cherokee have a reputation as one of the few liberal groups in Oklahoma. They’ve slowly been building up a very large tribe behind the scenes. They been slowly building up their political aspirations too.

Their representative would join a group of murky political leaders amongst unrecognized or colonized states (ISV, GUM, PUR, NMI, ASA, DOC)

Bolsanaro needs to be careful right now. He is making a lot of powerful enemies, and only one mildly powerful ally. Plus, he’s losing support from the likes of Bolivia which isn’t easy.

Bolsonaro is the kind of guy who would answer "But dude, the Amazon is on fire!" with "Your mom was on fire with me last night "

If you compare them to diseases, Trump is like a genital-eating virus and Bolsonaro manages to make that look like a mild itch on your arm.
