I’m so over these debates! Just let us choose already. I mean they don’t even let the candidates have real debates. I’ll be voting for Warren or Buttigieg (depending on who has a the more realistic chance by the time of the California primary)

I see that Spain has successfully reignited the Catalonian independence movement, which like most independence moments, I support.

Which raises the question of which movement you don't support.

If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Full story and how to help can be found here!

:RSO:ABK (though I could be swayed). I also only support movements with realistic chances (at least in theory), solid planning, and legitimacy. Also, “countries” that only want to be independent to be able to join another nation or become a puppet state don’t get considered.

Though I say I’m a democratic socialist it’s much more complicated. I hate when people use “left” and “right” because it shows a lack of understanding, a lack of education, a lack of knowledge, and general laziness. However, if I were to most accurately describe myself I’d just say “far-left”, because “Democratic Green Social-Anarchist” is a bit of a mouth full. That’s generally why I say “Democratic socialist” when talking about my political affiliation. Generally speaking I vote for the progressive party with best ideas, that I think has the potential to help better as many peoples lives as possible. My actual political beliefs change party affiliation on almost every issue (at least when taking European politics). American politics don’t really give me those options.

Actual letter that Trump sent to Turkey, and then choose to release so we could all laugh at him:

I'm sorry but you are fundamentally wrong on the Kurds matter. Ever since the 1984 uprising, Turkey has declared the Kurds as terrorists so that closes that discussion. The Ottoman Empire has been the primary force in the region since the fall of Konstantinopole in 1453 and Turkey is their lawful heir. Even the USA can't do anything about that and like I've mentioned before, USA needs those military bases to have something to scribble on when it comes to Middle East control.
