French tennis player Alize Cornet has had a charge for missing three drug tests in a 12-month period dismissed by an independent tribunal after reporting the buzzer to her apartment was broken :roflmao:https://www.insidethegames.biz/articles/1065113/cornet-avoids-sanction-after-charge-for-missing-three-drugs-tests-dismissed-by-tribunal

Sooo...  don't answer the doping agents, claim yout bell is broken and walk free ? She should copyright it, she 'd make more with that than with her tennis's carrer.

On other news, l'Equipe had acces to the letter that Russia sent to WADA which is a basically a confess that inded shit was going on in Russia and that the McLaren Repport findings were right. (In french).

A moment of thought for the ones (here and elesewhere) that was claiming this to be only an anti-russia conspiracy run by rabbic russophobes. In Memoriam.

"The letter is fake."

If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Full story and how to help can be found here!

Translation from Sport-Express

Russian Sports Minister Pavel Kolobkov commented on the information that Russia allegedly acknowledged the conclusions of the McLaren report .

- Today I learned about this article, but L'Equipe is not the official mouthpiece of WADA or the IOC, - noted Kolobkov. "It's their evaluation of that letter, and I'm not even sure they read it." In that letter it was written that we adopted the decision of the IOC on December 5, 2017. There were long discussions at the commission of athletes, we made this decision, because we stand for cooperation with the international community and the IOC. This decision was based on Schmidt's report. If someone is guilty of violating the anti-doping rules, we will punish them together with international organizations. But a decision must be made on the basis of irrefutable evidence, which must be built up in court. The Investigative Committee of Russia is conducting an investigation for one and a half years. Anyone who has manipulated or violated the rules must be punished. That's what this letter is about. Our side adopted the decision of the IOC, we believe that this movement is towards each other, because Russia is a part of international sport. Our athletes deserve to participate in the Olympic Games, because we believe in their purity. The decision of the IOC was based on Schmidt's report. But I will once again say that in Russia there was no state support for the doping system. We are for a clean sport.
