I'm a little confused though, is there any official certainty about the changes? Any concrete list, as in:

Classes that are out in 2020 or 2024

No, it wouldn't. It would be saying goodbye to sailing as a global sport.

Less windsurfing quotas would make a lot more sense than no windsurfing quotas.

What does this 'offshore' mean specifically? The rest is on the sand of the beach or what?

To make it simple.

Offshore is on open water. Land is not visible.

The rest is inshore or coastal. Land is visible.

Hello everyone, I found a very strange thing.

The Asian Windsurfing Championships are being held in Zhuhai, China, from November 23rd to 30th.

However, on the website of the International Sailing Federation, I could not find information about the Asian Championships in Zhuhai.

It was unexpectedly discovered that there was also an Asian Windsurfing Championship in Chinese Taipei from November 3rd to 11th.

The Asian Sailing Federation is also very clear that it is affiliated with the International Sailing Federation.

Can anyone tell me what is going on in these two Asian Championships?

My guess would be that it has something to do with China’s and Chinese Taipei’s political issues. See if you can find results on the ISAF website (I trust them more).

I can find the results on ISAF. However, the number of participants is very small, with less than ten participants in the male and female adult RS:X.
