India got a gold medal on vault and Twitter in India has gone crazy, apparently.

Did get to know :clap::cheer:

So I was excited because she missed the Olympic bronze in Rio 2016 finishing 4th and is the only female Olympic gymnast up-to date from India know for her death vault of Produnova  and she is returning after a long long time.

She did well not to perform the Produnova anymore (she had huge mistakes in execution) and she also did well to keep her double twisting tsukahara (also a very hard vault, and she performs it well). Her average score (14.150) was pretty good and she can even increase it for the World Championships if she improves her execution.

Only 12 can qualify through the team event... which opens up 2 extra slots.

Well, it will all depend if the Dominican Republic is counted as a team... they have 3 competitors, so according to current rules, if every gymnast competes, then they're team 13.
