phelps 6,770 Posted February 18, 2018 #46 Share Posted February 18, 2018 The final of the Team event at the Vancouver Men's Epee World Cup stage will be the great classic of this weapon... Italy and France will face each other in a few moments (actually in more than an hour...the assault should start at about 0.30/0.45 CET)... Italy beat Israel, Germany and South Korea on their way to the final bout...France defeated China, Ukraine and Hungary to reach the final act of the competition... Live Streaming (also the Bronze medal match should be streamed live here, but I'm not sure): https://www.twitch.tv/fencingworldcup2018e

MHSN 3,148 Posted February 24, 2018 #49 Share Posted February 24, 2018 That was nice to see our Sabre guys on a World Cup podium after a while. even though Pakdaman lost a 12-9 lead in semifinal. I don't know why but they almost always lose to these two Koreans Kim and Gu. Abedini also had a good day beating Curatoli but he ran into Pakdaman and lost convincingly. another guy Rahbari also lost a close match to the world champion Szatmari, good results for all of them in general after failing to get good results in recent tournaments.
