Griff88 1,737 Posted September 17, 2019 #92 Share Posted September 17, 2019 (edited) The mascot of Beijing 2022, Bing Dundun/Bing Dwendwen the panda. (Personal opinion: I prefer him to be called Astropanda, or Taikopanda to emphasize the Chinese-ness ) Edited September 17, 2019 by Griff88
heywoodu 13,555 Posted September 17, 2019 #93 Share Posted September 17, 2019 I like the panda Especially because it's actually recognizable as a panda Can't wait to bring one home If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! heywoodu 13,555 Posted September 17, 2019 #96 Share Posted September 17, 2019 What was the thought behind the Paralympic mascot? "Let's find something we can immediately hang up in our Christmas trees?" or what? I swear, we have balls like that in our tree every year. intoronto 4,236 Posted November 3, 2019 #98 Share Posted November 3, 2019 Have heard the ISU is considering reducing the size of the ice dance field for 2022 (it must cut quotas across all three disciplines). Speed skating would lose the rest (and I'd imagine the max team size would drop from 20 to 18 or 16)
