Cayman Islands rejected their quota,

To be fair, he didn't compete since August....of 2016. Might not even be active anymore. In fact, his Instragam says 'Formerly Harvard & Cayman Islands National Ski Team'.

If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Full story and how to help can be found here!

Still no feedback from :BOL:COL:ERI:GER:ITA:KEN:PAK:PER:RSA:SRB:SUI:SWE:TOG. Congrats for being so care free! :p

Any guesses who will be the last to confirm? I'm all in for :ERI Eritrea. :cheer:

why did you put Italy in that list?

I posted yesterday the final decisions of our NOC...

Quote

it's official (today there was the final meeting of our NOC to determine how many athletes fly to Korea)...Italy will use "only" 20 Alpine Skiing spots...

the already selected skiers are:

Men

Luca De Aliprandini, Peter Fill, Stefano Gross, Christof Innerhofer, Manfred Moelgg, Dominik Paris, Riccardo Tonetti

Women

Marta Bassino, Federica Brignone, Chiara Costazza, Irene Curtoni, Nadia Fanchini, Sofia Goggia, Manuela Moelgg, Johanna Schnarf

the remaining 5 spots will be decided after the last world cup races before the Games start...

They still haven't confirmed that on the FIS website though.

OK...but as I wrote, it's still the official decision by our tech panel...yesterday there was the official CONI press conference and all those infos were publicly released, so there's no way they're gonna change anything...

probably the final confirmation on FIS website will come only after all the 20 names have been determined, so to be sure that we have 4 starters in each race for both men and women (because this is still unsure in a couple of disciplines...we might select more specialists rather than worrying to fill all the 4 combined event's spots, for instance)...

If I'm not wrong, for the names of the athletes they can wait until Sunday but the number of quotas must be confirmed today.

As for the numbers given yesterday, they are just an estimate...

Italy just confirmed 8 quotas in ski jumping (not 6)

Well, that's an unfair allocation. First of all, the document says that reallocations will be applied on the 25th. Secondly, Czechs will get a reallocation anyway so this extra quota for team event was uncalled for, as they will not need it!

The document says that the allocation of team event places comes before the other unused quotas.

They should have waited a few hours but the result is the same, since :LIE and :CRO have already refused.

Anyway it's good that :CZE accepted even knowing that they will be without Ledecka.

Also, 22 confirmed for Switzerland
