Alpine Skiing at the Winter Olympic Games 2018

Maybe they could introduce a rule in the future that the running time of the downhill has to be at least twice as long as that of the slalom or that the best after the downhill can start first in the slalom, otherwise this event is often very unbalanced in favor of the speed athletes.

Apparently Dressen's coach said that he is solid with slalom skies.

 

"Solid" might be overselling it. :d

Iam not an expert in alpine skiing , but I think it's one of rarest times that some one finished 26th on downhill and finish on the podium at the end

It's not. At the World Championships last year Aerni went 30th -> 1st,

 

It happens all the time.
