heywoodu 13,504 Posted December 8, 2018 #104 Share Posted December 8, 2018 At the moment, esports would be better to have in the program than boxing. Quasit, Olympian1010 and Jur 3 If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! JoshMartini007 2,131 Posted December 8, 2018 #105 Share Posted December 8, 2018 The issue with esports is that it just isn't universal yet. For most games, you are really scratching the bottom of the barrel to come up with more than 10 viable nations to compete.

Even Laos and Turkmenistan have Hearthstone players though it's questionable how good they are. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electronic_sports_at_the_2017_Asian_Indoor_and_Martial_Arts_Games Stopped watching sports, there are better things in life. I would also say it's the most played game by people that don't really like video games in general that much (same with PES). But all other games are just east asians, western europeans and americans at the top level. Edited December 8, 2018 by LDOG

That's three continents with major representation, that's actually not that bad although sadly I'm too lazy to check all current Olympic sports If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated!
