The whole issue is the Belgium quota thing and I think that's going to cost her a place at the Olympics (because now that she's Belgian, I doubt IOC has grounds to let her compete in the Refugee Team?). There's a couple of work arounds. First as long as she doesn't compete under the Belgium flag her nationality will remain unchanged (like people with dual nationality). The other way could be what the IOC and IJF did with Kosovo's Majlinda Kelmendi where she was allowed to compete for Albania for the Olympics and switch right back to Kosovo after the Olympics. That's a shame for Pakistan, but at least one new country qualified. Pakistan have another fair chance tomorrow in the Women's -67kg, she has a 1 in 4 chance of qualifying! Maybe chances for Nepal and Afghanistan as well. You can always rely on Taekwondo to qualify new nations thanks to their excelent 4 quota limit.
