It's quite odd that one of their athletes competes in both women's single and double sculls.

 

Meanwhile, it looks like Ecuador and Trinidad and Tobago might qualify in rowing for the first time ever.

For me the surprise was the girl from Bermuda beating Fabiana Beltrame (BRA) for the direct spot in the semifinals... she could be in contention for one of the tickets.

Yeah, looks like I overlooked that Bermudan girl. Her time was much faster than the winning times of the other heats!
