Any updates on the German sailors towards the selection for Rio 2016? DOSB had officially decided to reject the Nacra 17 spot, as none of the crews reached the top 10 position at the ISAF World Cup meet in Hyères, France, leaving the boats to six.

Philipp Buhl (mens laser)

Heil/Plößel (mens 49er)

Jurczok/Lorenz (womens 49er)

Toni Wilhelm (mens RS:X)

Gerz/Szymanski (mens 470)

Bochmann/Steinherr (womens 470)

Maybe: One team in mixed nacra

ISAF updated its qualification list a few days ago.

New Zealand has declined its quota in the men's RS:X (we already knew that) and women's RS:X while Australia declined its quota for the women's RS:X. No replacement has been listed though it should go to the next highest ranked eligible boat from the 2015 World Championship of that boat class.

Women's RS:X quotas should go to Turkey and Sweden then. It's probably likely that Sweden will not accept this reallocation, so Argentina is the next best (meaning that Peru would get it as the next best South American nation).

Tripartite quotas have been announced.

Men’s Laser – Angola and Bermuda

Women’s Laser Radial – Cayman Islands and Saint Lucia

Interesting choices since both Angola and Bermuda are qualified in other events. Cayman Islands was pretty bad in qualifying though to be fair there weren't a lot of options. Saint Lucia was the only one that seems normal.

Also the document states Canada has rejected its women's 470 quota.

I'm surprised there's no Oman. And yet there are Angola and Bermuda even though they already have sailors. I guess nobody else applied. Also surprised that Cayman Islands applied for a wild card, in 2008 and 2012 they only sent athletes who qualified.

Women's 470 quota should go to Israel, what means that Finland now get European quota.
