George_D 862 Posted May 30, 2016 Author #2 Share Posted May 30, 2016 I hope that this will not happen, Gasol to skip Olympics http://www.insidethegames.biz/articles/1037954/spanish-basketball-superstar-gasol-considering-skipping-rio-2016-due-to-zika-fears
nenad 352 Posted June 6, 2016 #3 Share Posted June 6, 2016 (edited) Curry is going to miss Olympics, he wants to rest. There are rumours Lebron, Westbrook and Igoudala are also considering participation because of Zika virus threat. LaMarcus Aldridge is also out while Kevin Durant says he still plans to play. While i think that our team is still so insanely deep that they should be able to win regardless, they are making it closer and closer, but few more players drop and i will start getting 2004 flashbacks. Dissapointing that Curry wont play, hopefully Lebron stays home, don't want him there

Spain's peak is in the past as well, now they are not so strong like before and we don't know will brothers Gasol play in Rio. I think they will play but who knows. Anyway with even without Curry just look at the depth at point guard position. Insane. Westbrook, Lillard, Irving..

nenad 352 Posted June 7, 2016 #8 Share Posted June 7, 2016 Jerry Collangelo who is basicaly head of USA basketball said in an interview that they have two rosters in mind for Olympics, one with and one without Lebron James.
