Which is always annoying, because the Australian GP (MotoGP/2/3) starts at 03:00 CET, but I'm always confused if that's summer or winter time, considering at 03:00 the clock goes back one hour, so to be safe I generally either just don't go to sleep or wake up 2 hours in advance :p

Oh I thought you meant add one hour to the time during the night (like going from 02:00 to 03:00 immediately) :p

Happy 100th Anniversary Československo :cheer:

Exactly 100 years ago the 28th October 1918 was officially established Czechoslovakia, peoples may not know that it was a world powerhouse at that time, in the late 1920s Czechoslovakia was economically the 10th most developed country in the world, but everything was f...ed up by the Second World War and later by the incompetence of Communist leaders.

Also some fun facts, in Czechoslovakia the riders used to drive in the left :d this changed during the WWII, and Czechoslovakia was one of the first countries to grant women right to vote

A huge military parade is expected in Prague today and hundreds of different celebrations actions are organized in both nowadays independent countries today

Happy Birthday Czechoslovakia

I have reduced the number of the latest replies threads from 15 to 10 today because there are not many sports events going on right now. The Ice Hockey threads opened on the same day were just a coincidence :p

Yeah but nothing is going on, it'd be better to reduce the number to 5 even.

@hckosice I remember reading a book about the Czechoslovak President during the Second World War, and how he struggled to gain his countries freedom and his governments recognition. I don’t remember the name of the book, but it was fascinating read.
