LEN Aquatics European Championships postponed to August 17-30, 2020.

Hm, it makes absolutely no sense to have this right after SOG, and if SOG gets postponed to next year, why would LEN be able to host this in 2020?

Because hosting European championships is most likely easier than hosting Olympics. Having it right after the Olympics makes no sense, I agree, but then again: it's only the European championships, they never feel like that many people and athletes really care :p

If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Full story and how to help can be found here!

Snooker World Championships in May also postponed.  :noshake: OK we are all going to argue whether it’s a sport.

No, Snooker (pronounced the correct way) is definitely a sport :yes

At this point pretty much every equestrian competition until June is cancelled. And then even some from June/July are already off as well.

Having the Olympics in July without any proper competition beforehand is absolutely imaginable. Equestrian isn't rowing or something. Competition milage is extremely important going into championships...

Can’t they just let the horses practise on their own?  :p

Well, they do realize they are at home, so the first competitions after a longer stay at home are not always optimal. :p

Plus, this situation creates some major team selection concerns.

For equestrian or for rowing? Because generally everyone says the exact same thing about every sport :p Having competition 'milage' under your belt is important in any sport to perform well..

Equestrian.

And it's not the same for all sports. There is a reason why rowing has like three World Cups and that's it. And even those have only like 5 entries sometimes. :p
