phelps 6,536 Posted January 25, 2020 #23 Share Posted January 25, 2020 awful day for Italy...not a single fighter reached the medal matches in Kumite...and a truly wasted chance for Semeraro to catch Quirici in the OQR, as the Swiss lost in her first match, meanwhile Semeraro lost in the pool final against Someya, who unfortunately lost her following fight in the semifinals, preventing thus the Italian to get into the repechage tree (and potentially reach the Bronze Medal final, which would have given our karateka a lot of points in the standings)... instead, she only made up about 30/40 points on the Swiss girl...
