hckošice 13,131 Posted December 28, 2019 #56 Share Posted December 28, 2019 Embarassing but expected blowout against super mighty skilled reigning champions... surprising but earned win of this amazing young German squad over the hosts ... and absolutely shocking Tennis bagel as the worst Canadian defeat in a while in this category emballed by serious injury of their biggest star and expected NHL Draft #1 Alexis Lafreniere ... and incredible winning streak of Sweden at U20 WCH preliminary Round now reaching number 50 matches in a row ! wasn´t the only highlights of this crazy day 3 Two other curious moments to notice from this day, one quite funny and the other not so much... German Justin Schutz was sitting at the penalty box for 2 minutes penalty and when he returned into the ice he was immediately send back for another 2 minutes ! Something you really don´t see often the less fun thing now, captain Barret Hayton apparently couldn´t swallow the 0-6 lesson from Russia tonight since he behaved really sadly, didn´t remove his helmet during the Russian anthem, causing controversy, Russian players were not happy at all and their capteain even protested, but the refs send him back a couple of Russian players then decided to ignore him durng the traditional after match hand shake @heywoodu I know you secretly love controversies in sport, so I thought you may like it
