If it was up to me, I'd remove all those nonsense team events (including pursuit) and mass start of course.

Traditional speed skating events are completely different than track cycling events. So what's up with this urge to copy track cycling formats? It's so fake.

I would still be alright with a mass start being replaced by a marathon, at the very least 100 laps. I'd also be very much ok with that not happening and the 500m, 1000m, 1500m, 3000/5000m and 5000/10000m remaining as only events. I know that won't happen though :p

If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Full story and how to help can be found here!

Yeah, I like the Mass Start, but I’d love  see it longer 50-100km

I see no purpose for the Team Sprint or Points Race (or Elimination), but I think the Team Pursuit should absolutely be there. I think it should be a 5km-10km distance though with 3 or 4 members.

Nao Kodaira has been beaten at the 500m after 23 consecutive victories :yikes:

Her race with Vanessa Herzog was first halted because Herzog moved (the started waited very, very, very long and so it was inevitable almost), after which Herzog made a false start and got DQ'ed.

Tomorrow Ning from :CHN will destroy the field in the men's 1.000 metres, like he did today in men's teamsprint.

Nah :p

Not yet, but in the near future he will ...

I think he can join the world elite, but I doubt he'll be the kind of guy to go for low 1:06's. I'll let myself be surprised though :d
