ATHENS 1896 15 Posted March 10, 2019 #554 Share Posted March 10, 2019 There is no more one to one mapping between World / Continental Championships and Olympic Games weight categories, for Men. That means conversion clarifications are required, in the case that World Championships will be used for qualification events (provided Boxing and AIBA get the green light from IOC). Thanks! So,usual Bach's philosophy, equalizing both sexes by reducing men categories and even by ejecting disciplines alltogether. I respect women to the highest extent but i wouldnt say that any boxing fan will watch women bouts rather than men. zob79, Sindo and intoronto
