I don’t see why. I made myself sick out of a love for what I’m doing. Most journalists work all day. We love what we do. I’d work for the OC for free low key, just to know that I helped people enjoy the games in some fashion.

You can write in your application that you'd go to Madrid and work 12 hours a day for free, your chance of being hired would skyrocket.

How do you guys like it?

Incredibly, unbelievably generic

Like all of these 'mottos' are. Every single time.

Ok, 'A new world' and 'Hot. Cool. Yours.' were a bit less generic, 'Inspire a generation' was one of the worst ones together with this one I think after a quick search.

If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Full story and how to help can be found here!

“A new world” was bad, at least “Inspire A Generation” gave the games a true goal, and got the people of Great Britain to unite around them. This Tokyo2020 is ass. They could have come up with so much better.

I really don't think some motto 'got people to unite around the Games' or gave them a goal for anyone else than the marketing team. At least 'A new world' made some sort of sense instead of being the standard semi-spiritual nothingness these things are usually filled with.
